I think Macbooks would just become more expensive paperweights under these conditions … the salt driven corrosion goes everywhere. I'd also opt for a cheap but solid second-hand notebook. And then always store it in an airtight container with generous amounts (kilos!) of drying agent. If that slows corrosion by 2/3 it would live 3× longer.

Go for a MacBook Air with the M1 processor, enough powerful for work on videos. Maybe more expensive than a pc but will last 10/15 years without trouble... all other kind of computer are nothing but quality ;-)

I feel strange pointing this out but its not the fantastic reefs and spear fishing that brings us to your channel Its YOU ya Bloody Drongo, And maybe Margreta That brings us here. So just giving us little 4-5 min updates is great. Most of us are here to see and listen to YOU,
