@@kishore369 Please note India has 4 times more population than USA. And traffic doesn't matter cause it depends upon the gap to the nearest international airport. Nearest intl airport from JFK is 50 kms. Whereas IGI to nearest airport is 535 kms. So obviiously if something happens to plane in the US, they can get to the nearest airports easily but turnarounds in India would bye difficult so they'll just land the plane anyways. And services to matter. Fame is also next thing. I hear JFK everytime but never heard IGI until today. Sorry If I provoked you

When Karachi Jinnah Terminal was built back in 1992, Mumbai Sahar International was a crap. Jinnah International still in used after 27 years while Mumbai Chitrapati Shivaji Terminal was built only few years ago.
