    I know it's a lil older video but just a lil infow that might help, on the rear when using blocks you'll want to use the longer shocks since it spreads the the shock mounting points apart unlike the front where it closes the length of the mounting points. Also in the rear instead of going with 4in blocks you can either flip the middle spring on the leafs or remove it totally and probably just use 2in blocks and the shorter shocks. Clean looking truck you've got.

      Any block kit will work alot of of the auto parts stores keep them instock or if you don't mind waiting you can find them online just let them know what size you're wanting lift/lowering blocks are pretty universal.

      2005 & up frontiers & xterras lower the same in the rear but the front is totally different. They use struts & springs up front, You can either cut the springs or get drop springs or drop struts and springs.

    Do your front shocks not bottom out? I recently put the belltech shocks all around for a 2,3 drop and the front only has like a inch to inch and a half of travel before it bottoms out on the shock. Front is lowered with torsion bars.

    • @RidinDirtyTX

      no issues so far, but I'm also not bottomed out on the torsions anymore

    How’s your ride I did mine with 3” blocks and dropped the torsion bars down and it feels really bouncy any ideas on what I need to do ?

    • @RidinDirtyTX
      @RidinDirtyTX  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ride is ok. Did you replace your bump stops and shocks? Mine is still bouncy, however not as bouncy as it was prior to replacing those items. Spindles is the way to go up front for the best ride quality.

    Just got some 4" blocks for mine, you run into issues with the shackles or oil pan being too low? Roads are a little jacked up around here so I'm a little nervous

    • @RidinDirtyTX
      @RidinDirtyTX  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not when I was on 18s. When I was on 15s wrapped in 205/50/15 (23.1 overall height) I would scrape around town, and that shackle would be an issue in certain inclines.

  • @WrldWchr

    Hey what up man, I got a question about the Caprice wagon. Won't 22x11's fit the rear? This set I'm looking at is +1 in the front and+18 in the rear. The back spacing on this set is 5.04 fronts and 6.71 rear
    A shop telling me they won't fit. What offset does it need to be to fit the 11 inch on there? Thanks man
    La Frontera is lookin nice!

    • @RidinDirtyTX
      @RidinDirtyTX  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man. Not speaking from personal experience, but I’ve seen people run those same offsets on a wagon. That’s the typical American Racing, US MAG backspacing on the 22x11. If I’m not mistaken you’ll need to trim your inner fender lip, get longer studs, and run a 1/4 spacer to keep it from rubbing on the frame. Also depends what size tire you want to run.

    • @WrldWchr
      @WrldWchr ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RidinDirtyTX appreciate the info bro. Since I don't have any experience seeing these. What do you think? With that skirt, will I even be able to see the difference if I decide to get the 22×9 in the rear versus the 22x11 in the rear? I feel like with that skirt it won't even matter. What you think... I appreciate any other info you might want to tell that might help me make that decision. I was also thinking about a rake front. A 20x9 up front with 22 as in the back. Let me know what you think. Thank you bruh

    • @RidinDirtyTX
      @RidinDirtyTX  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WrldWchr skirt or no skirt you can see the difference in that back lip. I am not personally a fan of the bigger wheel out back. Staggered 20s also look good on these wagons, and you can run a good sized on them. I never uploaded it but that green wagon I had, I put the torque thrust 20s on it and loved the look.

    • @WrldWchr
      @WrldWchr ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RidinDirtyTX I was actually leaning towards the set of 20s but got the idea for putting 22s out back. On the staggered 20s setup you were talking about, were they 20x11s in the back? Or 20x9s with narrower 20x8.5s on the front? Wouldi need to find the same offsets/spacing that set just like the 22s? Thanks man
      Mine is lowered all around so I do like the smaller wheels on there to keep it lower to the ground versus the 22s. I don't like the high ass the wagons tend to have so I was worried if I put the 22s on the rear with the 20s up front it might look too too high.

    • @RidinDirtyTX
      @RidinDirtyTX  ปีที่แล้ว
