Still very pissed off about the false advertising of San Bernardino being created as a DLC for TSW 4 in which they lazily slapped into TSW 5 as a base route to fill their 1 American route quota. I’m a little interested in all the new European routes yet the blatant disrespect shown for the San Bernardino and MBTA by the chat during DoveTail Direct spamming “BORING AMERICAN ROUTE” gets me sore. I don’t actively hate on the Euro’s, I’m very jealous about the amount of content they receive monthly yet they show toxicity on the one new US route we get a year. Oh yeah besides the rant conductor mode and built in fast travel would be pretty cool!
@@potatoman451 I’m aware but that still doesn’t warrant slander on US Routes. I meant I’m jealous that railroads in Europe are more willing to license with DTG than the US. I know there’s nothing that can be done in terms of restrictive licensing.
Congratulations on your channel growth! These vides are always great. It’s nice to see more people making honest and fair reviews and overviews of content. Keep it up!
Dont think of is as buying cajon twice just think of it you're getting multiple dlc for a fraction of the price. ive bought tsw 2 and 3 based game bundles multiple times just to get a ton of DLC for super cheap. I don't even factor that i got the base routes multiple times.
Good point. I think I got cajon pass on sale too so it’s not really much of a loss for me anyway. I really want those extra loco add ons for the other routes so it’s worth it 🙂
@@trainsimsociety I bought 2020 and 2 on disk for the collector's edition. transfer my dlc with the codes from support. The i got the rush hour bundle for 8 dollars. I also bought the us super bundle for 16 bucks.if digital copies could stack id have a couple bakerloo and like 3 peninsular corridor copies. Its just cheaper than buying each on their own.
Maybe they had the MBTA commuter route in their mind for TSW5 but couldn’t do something quick enough for release. Only thing that could be why SB is being the American route.
While it is annoying that the San Bernardino line is only coming to TSW5, it was smart for DTG to make a free starter pack available for everyone to own for TSW5. Why, because we are gonna pay for the San Bernardino line anyway and it is easier if we just want that route and want TSW5
Just Trains just released more info on Their Route today, which is what I'm most excited about, proper traction instead of all the boring modern EMUs coming out these days in TSW
why don't they just update the game they have than make a new game about a year later, it's just so greedy and makes it hard to want to buy a game when it will be made redundant in a year
I became soo pissed that train sim world 5 comes😡😡😡😡😡😡😡.. All i wanted was german steam Locomotive and tws online... This has gone to far.. you guys shound sue dovetail for makeing the 5th game!!!!!!!!!!
its all gonna be recycled sounds for the MP36 Metrolink uses the same horn and engine sounds do some research before speculating metrolink and caltrain use P2 horns and ebells so its all gonna be the same recycled stuff.
so I just did the research that you said to do, and they got new recordings, so not recycled. also I’m very much so allowed to speculate as much as I want, anytime I want, but thanks for your input lol
@@trainsimsociety if u read my comment i ment to research the railroad not dovetail both caltrain and metrolink use the same P2 horn and all MP36PH llocomotives use the same prime mover just some are different horse powered.
I don't even know why people like you pay for this product. Dovetail don't seem to care about the fan base, they are like EA games, but with Trains. All they care about is the £££, I am so glad I have not been supporting Dovetail, its a shame what this has come too. But in all honestly I can't wait till theres a better Train Genre then Dovetail. Then they would have to up there game up.
Because there's no other product. It's great for the casual gamer who want to drive stress free. Other sims tend to be more hardcore which is great but also miserable or they only focus on one aspect
your channel deserves all the growth u are getting and more
great content man
Appreciate your kind words!! Thanks man :)

You realize there's zero 3rd parties on the US side of things. Also the us is much more restrictive on licenses

Most of the railways here in the United States are pretty hostile when it comes to licensing their brands

I appreciate it, thank you! 🙏
Are you hyped for the new MBTA route with the HSP46 and the Bi-Level cab car
Nope. Another bland U.S passenger route
More American locomotives and trains the better
New video coming soon where I see all of that for the first time. VERY hyped seeing the screenshots!!
@@trainsimsociety same
I also noticed deluxe edition costs more (around $15 more) even with the loss of one of the deluxe perks (subbed in for the BNSF route)
But that dlc would have been 30 bucks a piece
Well yea obviously. It has more content and therefore more expensive
@@potatoman451yeah but doesn’t make any sense baring in mind a LOT of players own cajon pass from TSW4
@@damianc.0.681 your still being 2 new trains so it's still cheap either way to get all 5

I'll probably just buy the standard edition and do what I did with the flying Scotsman and just buy it later
Do you think the other add one that you already own will transfer from Train sim world 4 to Train sim world 5 ?
It's already been confirmed yes

Will there be route building mode??!?!?
If you are a PC player, you can build routes with the TSW Editor tool used exclusively on epic games. That’s the only way at the moment.
I'm getting the special edition to get all the services on the west coast mainline
Playing the 390 on a german or new york to trenton route will be so good 👍👍
Although it is attempting to buy the whole package. Think I'll wait till there Wil be other bundels. I already have 4 of those routes.
9:52 Dutch routes? I’m screaming. They gotta add the virmm or icmm dudeee
They only made the icm and sng maybe in the future

Nice video
Cant wait to “buy” it :D
you forgot to say we're also getting the underground train Bakeloo line but not the route
Well it does run next to the wcml so it's there for traffic
I think you may need bakerloo line to get the 1972 Stock.

The next one is one hour sorry 😭😭😭 but if ur driving or taking a walk and wanna listen podcast style, that could work too haha 😉
Finally Dutch routes too 😎
can you play the wcml on tsw4 bcz i dont want to buy tsw5?
You should know this by now. New content is only for the new tsw
No but you can get a free upgrade to tsw5 and then buy the west coast route

Id now love to get a Japanese Bullet train route..
IKR! Or honestly anything in Japan or china would be nice… or really anywhere in Asia 🥺
