Last September, as part of an epic roadtrip, I headed to Coed Y Brenin and checked out the Cyflym Coch (Red Fox/Fast Red) trail on my EMTB.

How much easier were the technical rocky climbs on an ebike?

Much easier on an ebike. More power to get up and over the tricky bits but you still have to work hard. The ebike just helps with my lack of technique, but by being able to do it, it helps you learn.

@Gravel Dragon yes because you get to more runs or you can session a section much easier on an ebike.

Ebike ... nothing but the beast is acceptable... can get round it on the E in less than 2 1/2 hrs

@@SearchMTB I've done it about 14 times on a regular bike but a family 👪 now means I don't get to go out as much as I like.... ebike for the win as I can enjoy it as much as I used to now 🤣..... actually I enjoy it more 🤣

Yes you can definitely do more trails in a day on an ebike 👍 less time peddling up and more time flying down😜
