Plenty of civics in stock at the moment. Lovely cars, this one can give Honda fans nostalgia of a 2.2 Idetec Accord. This one’s beautiful, really good spec in it
The engine is actually very quiet , I would imagine at that speed you are circa 2750/3000 rpm , unfortunately however they do exhibit road noise from the wheels, So that can be an issue for some people
@@doolanbrian Theres a good percentage (i.e. tons n tons of people) who want eu-only and jdm-only hatches, wagons, diesels, MTs. Manufacturers only offer base trim in MT but they don't have them in stock anywhere!! and complain about low sales and discontinue -_- . The i-Dtec with its adaptive dampers, half-black roof, 9spd ZF, 'auto' mirrors, parking sensors, smart headlights, rear fogs; would sell very well.
Have this model in pearlesant white, lovely car great to drive, full of features, eco mode is in my opinion no different, mpg even driving very sensibility is way below what the book says, does it matter no, love the car
Actually little bit irrelevant to this civic Brian but some 1.5 Civic stock engine etc manual can actually get to 100kmh in 7-7.4 seconds. It’s actually very very quick!
@@simonmarsdenmarsden5291 Unfortunately it’s an expensive part, the labour isn’t too bad! If you find a car with a really good service history it has less chance of the issue occurring after that then keep the oil changed and you should be okay

Good point Rob ! Somebody had called about it today, and they have a 2008 accord not surprisingly as you say !
@@doolanbrian that’s handy! Was the Accord low mileage or high?
@@robertdoyle7399 300 plus kms :)
@@doolanbrian fairly high, still an accord all the same :)
Perfect spec. Will be one lucky owner.
You actually did a 0-100!, I searched all other vids but no other i-dtec auto 0-100 anywhere.
Glad it helped thanks for watching too !!! 🙂
Did you enjoy the car?
Nice video! Can ask few questions?
How noisy is the vehicle at 110km/h, how many RPMs at this speed?

@@doolanbrian I bought the diesel 😂.
110 km/h = 1.600 rpm and 30kgfm of torque. Fantastic car
@@vini5729 glad it’s going well !
Nice car and nice gearbox, is it dual clutch gearbox or is it just regular one?, i wonder how it's going to work on higher rpm's?
I don’t think it’s dual clutch - this video might help !! th-cam.com/video/Z7EMGnjEhmE/w-d-xo.html
@@doolanbrian It is a Torque Converter gearbox made by ZF

Why can’t we have some in the United States 😩
I thought you guys prefer petrol over there?

did he mention mpg? Difficult to pick out from the fast talking routine
Sorry about that ! Realistically I reckon circa 45/50 mpg is realistic 💪🙂

We have replaced one diesel particular filter since 2018 so it’s not impossible but it’s reasonably infrequent ! Thanks for watching!
