I’m quite new to the masculine side of vintage style, but I have to say, a good pair of 1940’s style trousers can’t be beat for comfort!

I just got my first pair of trousers from Freddie’s! I don’t want to freeze up during the winter yet not give up my vintage style completely 😅

Love this! It’s also a much more chill vibe...I love my dresses but sometimes I don’t want to feel so dressed up (which I feel a dress automatically does) lol could you possibly do a video about more casual outfits? I find it so hard to come up with vintage casual outfits lmao

I need to do this casual outfits video! You're one of many who have requested it 🙈 I'll get on it! 🏃‍♀️💨

You're right it can be hard since vintage style was all about looking dressed up even in casual settings. Today's casual is definitely on a different level' 😅

I tend to wear more skirts/feminine outfits in the summer and drift towards more masculine clothing in the winter (nothing beats high-waisted wool trousers when it's cold out!). Also the juxtaposition between masculine clothing with overtly feminine makeup and hair is just *chef kiss*

I LOVE the more masculine vintage style. And as you say, since "menswear" hasn't changed that much since, a lot of "menswear worn by or even tailored for women" it is clothes that are easily found in contemporary "basics/classics" sections, as well.
And a sharp eyeliner and/or a bold lip with a crisp shirt and a pair of slack is so damn sexy????
I'd like your help tho! English isn't my first language and I didn't catch the name you gave for the shoes that you mentioned last, the ones you went and grabbed and showed us. Was that a brand name or a type of shoe's name? (like "boat shoe")
I really like those and I've seen them around and I'm looking to try and purchase those but... man. There are a lot of styles to wade through. A keyword would help. 😅
Thank you so much! As usual, loved the video! (and your accent. 😍)

Fedoras! A good men's Fedora worn at an angle can look so chic and just slightly androgynous. My fave go to menswear accessory

Love this! So happy you did this one!!! I definitely like to have a balance with the masculine/feminine styles and have been wanting to incorporate more of this into my vintage wardrobe. This video really helped me with direction and where to start! Very excited to get started. Thank you so much!!!

Great video! Giving us ways to save a bit of $ and still get the look is SO apt for these lean times. I'd love to see more masculine style tips....especially on getting a good fit for the suit look despite curves. And would love to know what lippy you're wearing in this vid. ;)

This video is great. I am not allowed to wear skirts and dresses in my job (savety reasons), but would love to wear more vintage outfits

I love this style! I havent had much luck in finding 40s style ties thought. Waistcoats are a bit more autumn and winter, I love those as well.

I love your videos! This one was such a great idea. For years I've only wore dresses and skirts as I felt that most trousers don't suit me, that was until I made a pair of relaxed '30s style trousers and they really give me that masculine vintage feel... I've so much experimenting to do

Great video, love the masculine styling if only for the comfy flats! I personally prefer the wide leg trousers/cigarette style trousers to wearing skirts - excluding pencil skirts of course.

Loved it! I will try to start adding some of this to my style. I am typically a jeans and shirt person... pretty simple and basic. As a mom, and currently construction worker 😂 (I’m remodeling the family room with my husband and currently learning my hand at mudding drywall) I have a hard enough time to get myself into clothes to modestly cover my top-heaviness and try to give my boxy lower body some feminine shape 😳🙄 and I don’t do dresses because of littles and the fact I don’t like touching thighs... but these will be good to add to my thoughts when getting around!
    Thank you again, doll face!
(Made me smile and seemed era appreciate!😉)

I dont want to be or look masculine as I love my femininity and looking different from men BUT these looks were cute :)

You can still look feminine in trousers make sure they fit higher waist and not to baggy around the rear, wear nipped blazer and lace blouses, tight knit sweaters, feminine dainty jewelry and shoes. It gets really cold here so I rather layer it up to stay cozy
