An instructional video on how one should put their scooter on the center kickstand. A very simple and effective way to store away any size scooter for a person of any weight! Also how to dismount easily.
Dude you're dreaming. I've tried hundreds of times! U must be physically strong enough to do what ur saying. Im just waiting for the manufacturers to think up and design a powerized center stand and THAT will solve the problem for me. Otherwise im stuck searching for someone to help every time i need my bike put on center stand.
Lol. That’s how I felt for the first while. I’m about 130lbs. Not sure if that matters. I find that I basically have to step on it, as if I’m walking, so like I’m trying to push my foot to the ground, and no lifting at all.
I agree… I went and took a look at one yesterday and he showed me how to do it and I struggle three times in a row I was so embarrassing but I just need to work out and build my strength…definitely not as easy as it looks
I've been watching a bunch of these videos. I tried yesterday and almost dropped my Yamaha Majesty but I think I'm ready to try again. Thanks for the demo.
I've watched about 5-10 how to use your center stand suggesting different techniques and theyve all been helpful. Go with what works for you. Most important info for me was to make sure both centerstand feet are on the ground before tou step and lift. That did it for me.
im a little girl, dont weigh much. your method was kind of hard for me still. i found that rocking it back and forth helped me finally get it over the edge. enough momentum backwards and it made it easier for me.
I thought that i am quite advanced at scooters.. I got center stand by one guy, and installed it, and i got scooter on it. But I used wrong technic. Thanks for tutorial, this was youtubes best.
I think the trick is the way he steps into the stand with his right foot. I have a Kymco 150cc that I just purchased and I got it up once on the center stand once the “wrong” way. Not good for the back. Enjoy your Vespa.
Hi. Thanks for the video. I just got a scooter and am totally new to it so I really appreciate your videos. :) I’m trying to find one that explains parking on hills. Do you have one or can you suggest somewhere to look? Thank you 🙏
Thank you thank you thank you. Im only 8 & half stone n 5ft 1 I tried everything nearly gave up then I found this video. I'm only tiny b my bike s quite heavy so if u can do it u men can, x
They are juat different ways with one maybe being harder. The first way is harder on my moped but in driving school we were taught the first way and using the right technique it was simply effortless, but it depends on the moped.
Worth mentioning there are videos out there that tell you to pull the brake to stop the bike getting away from you. What? Turn off the ignition and that won't happen. Pull the brake and the bike won't move. That's its job.
Omygod thank you so much I just got my GMW M2 and its soooo heavy and I was having so much trouble with the center stand and I just tried your way and I woked perfectly
one other easier way is to push the center stand down with your feet and pull your scooter to the back with ur hand it's more easier no need to pull it from the handlebars
in order to remove the central stand can you ride the scooter but not sit on it and just push it farward while standing ? my scooter is heave and i am worried if it fell down from the oposite side.
What if i don't have that little L shape on my center stand that allows me to stand on it? I just have a peg that sits on the ground like a normal stand, but works like a center stand, im quite a weak dude so would this still work?
so you people know get used to the center stand you never want to use the little stand he uses in the end as just grabing the bike wrong will make the scooter fall and get damaged. my self I rip the little side stand off every scooter I get both for it not being safe and cus its added waght . most of the dealers buy me do the same thing they pull them off and do not even offer to sell them or give them to you.
if something breaks or fails on the center stand, which it will, now you can't set the bike on anything. it's not in the way, leave the dam thing on there and use the center stand, the springs on the center stand also tend to come off
@Nillb it was a 650cc like 2010ish Burgman scooter. It wasn't light in the least, but a great ride! I have an 800cc suzuki boulevard now, and it weighs like another half of what the scooter was I'd say. So about 2/3rds the weight of a regular motorcycle if that helps, good luck!
my we aren't sure what it is, made by Yiben sold as JM star, weighs about 250 with a gallon and a half of gas. I rolled it on the airplane scale which is calibrated, 249 with all the stuff under the seat removed and the tank full
There is only ONE kickstand on a scooter. SEVEN times you referred to the center stand as the "center kickstand". Also, you neglected to mention the IMPORTANT point that one should make sure that BOTH feet of the center stand are touching the ground before you send the scooter backward. Do you want more subscribers? Then know that of which you speak before posting it for public consumption. This video is another proof that ANY doo-doo can post a TH-cam video.
+Grace Portugal Hi Grace! Just wondering whether you ever got it. I just got a Gio scooter and also cannot do it. I'm 5' tall, and weight 90 lbs. Still trying. I had him for 1 week now. Good luck and happy New Year.
I've owned a scooter for 10 years and have always man-handled my bike onto the centre stand. Thanks a lot for this; this technique is very helpful
Same I ride my scooter to school and I always struggl its embarrassing to ask someone evey time so hear i am learning

@@AJ-wy6zm I'm 115. About to buy either a 125cc or 150cc scooter and this issue was worrying me. I don't even know if I can pick one up if I drop it.
I'm 4'11 - 150 lbs, I just did it!!!
Just try using all your weight and pressing down with your right foot. Don’t worry about dropping the scooter because you’re holding on to it.
I agree… I went and took a look at one yesterday and he showed me how to do it and I struggle three times in a row I was so embarrassing but I just need to work out and build my strength…definitely not as easy as it looks
that's really worked for me! I'm very light (57kg) with a Honda click 150i and it's perfectly did the job, thank you!
Thank you! I almost pulled my back out this morning doing this the wrong way--you're a lifesaver!
Just what I needed, thank you. Now, I can change my oil, CVT fluid, and air filter without a problem.
Thanks man ... I am a guy of 180 pounds and I could not put my scooter upright until you showed me this video ... thumbs up!
this has got to be the best advice i ever got so far...
Thanks for that! I just got one of these and I am nearly 60. Big help!
As soon as you said “this is the wrong way” I knew you were gonna do it my way! Thanks for the lesson
I've been watching a bunch of these videos. I tried yesterday and almost dropped my Yamaha Majesty but I think I'm ready to try again. Thanks for the demo.
Thank you! Worked perfectly. I moved my daughters boyfriends scooter and didn't know how to get the stand down again,

That is so useful. I’ve been doing it badly wrong, this is so easy!! Thanks dude.
I thought that i am quite advanced at scooters.. I got center stand by one guy, and installed it, and i got scooter on it. But I used wrong technic. Thanks for tutorial, this was youtubes best.
I just bought a 150 cc Vespa-- uber cute- I'm 4'11" 150 lbs and did this by myself!!

Thanks for this, Just bought a Lexmoto Apollo Maxi Scooter & I couldn't get it on the centre stand to save my life....
thanks!
Thank you for the tip! Will definitely use this when I get me a Burgman 650!
Quite helpful. Thank you, from an old geezer.

Thank you sir!!!!!!! I can finally start my scooter and drive around. This is really helpful!!!!
woah that worked like a charm.. thanks man:)
my scooter is quite heavy and i find it difficult to handle it sometimes
Yes but will it stay like that in the wind? Because my scooter does fall?
They are juat different ways with one maybe being harder. The first way is harder on my moped but in driving school we were taught the first way and using the right technique it was simply effortless, but it depends on the moped.
good advice.. i am thinking of getting a 150 cc soon

Thank you for this. I'm small and have been having a lot of trouble! I will try this
wow! thnx dude very working properly!
Really useful but it really is a difficult if you are unfamiliar with scooters. I would suggest having a spotter or two.
That doesn’t work with a Honda reflex
This helped me so much!!! Thank you😊👌🏻
It really helps me... thanks for this.. 👍
Omygod thank you so much I just got my GMW M2 and its soooo heavy and I was having so much trouble with the center stand and I just tried your way and I woked perfectly

Konsi li h

Thank you. Thank you. 🙏🏼

When I got my scooter it look longer to put it on her stand than drive the 16km from the dealer
so you people know get used to the center stand you never want to use the little stand he uses in the end as just grabing the bike wrong will make the scooter fall and get damaged. my self I rip the little side stand off every scooter I get both for it not being safe and cus its added waght . most of the dealers buy me do the same thing they pull them off and do not even offer to sell them or give them to you.

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!
Thanks bro!!
Tried it. I have a big scooter. Nope.
How big? Was planning to try this on my tank tomorrow it weighs 355lbs i weigh a little under 110

my we aren't sure what it is, made by Yiben sold as JM star, weighs about 250 with a gallon and a half of gas. I rolled it on the airplane scale which is calibrated, 249 with all the stuff under the seat removed and the tank full

I can't even hold my scooter with one hand while standing, it's too heavy. I think i need to work first with my muscles before doing this.
@@mexelmesh 😂😂
I know you can do it I am yours always
Thanks dude
