Here in Europe, the Wasserkuppe has been outdated for a few years already! Pax has been the standard for over 10 years.

German paramedic here, that jump bag is actually out dated now a days. The bag got to heavy and most department adopted a 2 bag system from the same company, so the design is still the same, but the bags are smaller. One for A/B plus Oxygen and one for C/D/E including meds.

Hah.. my flight service has two of these bad boys packed to the gills on our stretcher…. And a third in the aircraft with odds and ends. Definitely HEAVY…

Im from germany, and in my city, we love this bags. I work as an EMT, and we use the magnetic version, because, as you said, its very easier to desinfect it. We also have a bunch of other PAX-Products. There is nearly no other option that fits so well, like PAX.

    German "Notfallsanitäter" (Paramedic equivalent) here.
We have been using these packs for a long time, they are good bags. Durable, hygienic, good size, adaptable, simple...
    The medication bags are awesome.
I think the velcro on the back panel is enough. It holds the modules in well enough.
Some services have two packs, blue and red: one with a ventilator and all sorts of A+B emergencies and a second pack for the rest.
I never worked with that system. We just use one pack.
I don't have any negatives really. It's a big heavy plastic bag that holds your stuff well. Easy to clean and use.

Its heavy and may impact your health. The two packs system allows you’re college to share the weight of the equipment

    Is there any veterinary IFAK???
What would you need in a veterinary med pouch???
If you go out there with your dog, what meds should you carry???
Can you do that video, please.

I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.

I'd rather look like a highlighter than a cop or roadkill. Bright colors all the way

    Hi Sam
Wales (UK) Pax bags very durable and interchangable pouches pack added to adapt as needed. They can be a bit more pricey compared to other bags - but German engineering seems good and suppose you get what you pay for . . . .

Mine (authentic) also has a smell inside! I don't know what's going on because none of my other products have the smell of the *luxrul* bag. Called LV and they said it is normal and I can wipe the inside with a damp cloth. I thought the lining was suede but it's actually microfiber so I'm going to look for ways to remove the microfiber smell because the smell is keeping me from using it often.

I have one for personal use as I live in a third world country. Great bag but fully equipped it is so heavy. My next system will be modular again and I split the contents on several bags or even cases.

Video Request: "BLS Bag" I am a patrol Deputy with my NREMT-B. My medical calls are going way up along with assistance calls to our local volunteer fire departments. Looking for a beg to help assist until EMS can get there. I have an "active shooter" bag but I am looking for something less tactical to fill this role, but still geared towards law enforcement. Thoughts?

Many options from StatPacks come in coolguy black or a darker blue color. For a basic supplies bag the MedSlinger is a good option IMO. With a separate trauma bag, you have plenty of space to carry your BLS supplies without the need for a separate kit for your medications.
Congratulations and thanks for becoming cross-trained as an EMT

Our department tried it out. Smaller people had issues with the size of it. Taller people had back pain from carrying it. I think it’s collecting dust in a closet now.

That's what I don't like about the backpack style kits. As a shorter person I find it easier to have the duffel bag style ones with the weight at my hips.

Hey, I've tested a few of those, but the plastic ones, they worked well. After 2-3 turns they already cut off blood flow. They felt as sturdy as the CAT.
The company is a real medical company supplying third and second world countries.
Of course it's hard to give recommendations for Chinese TQ's, but I think it's a solid choice if you have tight funds. Their entire IFAKs cost as much as a single SAM TQ.

I've seen rhino rescues stuff, too. And I was sceptical about the company, as their prices are suspiciously low.
I did some research all over the internet (mostely on r/tatcicalmedicine) and came to the consensus that this company is not really trustworthy.
I wouldn't recommend buying from them.
But alas, I am just some bloke from the internet that got his information from other blokes from the internet, so do your own research (that hopefully consist of more than just one bloke from the internet)

Hey there, I am a German EMT yeah this bag is really shit. It’s too big and so heavy. 😮‍💨 I hate this thing 😅

    • @PrepMedic
      @PrepMedic  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

A bag isn’t bad or good because of the size. If it’s too big buy a smaller one, if it’s too small buy a bigger one. If the bag delaminated that would make it a bad bag.
