Been wanting to get a pair of reproduction dog tags with all my grandpa's original information from WW2 and a reproduction M2 helmet painted up like the 501st (regiment he served in). Just seems like something cool to display.
I’ve got a set of dogtags the other day and also a set of rubber silencers (dont worry not those modern ones but custom made ones that are period correct) I cant seem to fit the silencers tho as theyre too tight, have you any tips on what I could do??
@@twistybliss6589 accuracy is priority number 1 for a reenactor. Halfassing your impression like that is a poor mindset to have. Dog tags are cheap. Just buy a pair. Just cuz it’s not seen doesn’t always mean it’s ok to go modern. I wear GI Boxers because they are lighter and very comfortable.
I'm just starting reenacting and your channel has helped me immensely, thank you

That’s awsome, do you know what company or rank he was, or what his name it?

WW2 Dog Tags are a good company everyone I know that has tags from them have never had any problems.
The only issue I had with them is how long they take to ship it out
US ARMY- Uncle Sam Ain't Released Me Yet. Nice video
Dog tags by Kilroy are very good I'm on my second set
I wish I had my first set from 1988.
I'm looking forward to Rockford illinois' WW2 days this year.

Hey! Usually putting them on in warm water helps to make the rubber more stretchable.
So can I just use my modern dog tags that the military issued me? I don’t feel like spending the money for the authenticool stuff
Yes no one is really gonna go looking for them
Just dont have em hanging out
