Alexa I was so excited for you to read beach read. It was the first Emily Henry book for me and i agree with you . I was more into the backstory than the romance. But I loved the cute moments and the crazy turn in chapter 15 ( if you know , you know) . Also I loved the little adventures,the idea and gus was so sweet . He was a sweet and emotionally intelligent person who was toughened up by the situations of his life. I loved January and her dad's last letter made me tear up soooooo badddd. I loved the story,rated it 4 stars. I love you and your videos. .. a literal comfort zone. Love you ❤

I finished reading beach read last week. And I’m sure someone already mentioned, and I bumped into it completely on accident, but the UK version and the US version has different endings. I was reading the physical book in the US version and the UK one on my kindle. I saw a phrase on the physical book at the end that I didn’t on kindle so I read the ending on both. I personally liked the US version better, but the UK one is great too! Maybe you could do a tier ranking on the 50+ books you read this year? Revisit your 5⭐️ reads and see where they stack now? Random prompts to determine your tbr? Rate sequels if they were better or worse than the original? But wherever you do, more videos with your cat in the background please 😻.
I loved Book Lovers by Emily Henry and just finished Beach Read today. I rated it 4 stars but should change it to 3.5 too. I think the ending made me go to a 4 lol. There was a lot of spice though and I wasn’t a fan of one of the tropes. Still need to read more of hers but I love her writing and the BANTER!
