love the videos by Scott weaver! he gives such clear directions. wish I knew about him a couple years ago. I now need to learn how to make an imperial valance. Help!
Wow! Thank you SO MUCH for your extremely helpful tutorial! It's been a while since I've used my pattern-making skills, therefore your video was EXACTLY what I'd been looking for in order to finish up my current craft-splosive decorating projects! Your video helped me get past the creative road block that had me headed towards my typical, ever-dreaded procrastination pattern; I was derailing, out of control, and in an Internetting-Plus-Pinteresting Spiral of Doom. Hooray for you for saving the day! (Actually it's night now, as I've lost quite a bit of time contemplating potential trims. Oopsies?) Regardless of my inability to navigate seemingly simple concepts like time, I'm grateful for your having shared such an informative collection of posts!
Hey Scott! Is there a tutorial on those breathtaking window treatment at 0:56 ? They look gorgeous! Or is this a variation of the faux drapes? I really enjoy your videos! So helpful! Thank you!
Great tutorial. I learn so much by watching your videos. Used your tutorial on roman shades for several windows already. I now want to make your scalloped & bell valance. Wondering how to make this pattern with a curtain pocket rod rather than using a board. I want something I can remove and wash and hang back up without difficulty. Assuming I would make the pocket in the lining. Am I on the right track?
+Sheila Nance what I would do is cut a 4" wide piece of valance fabric and sew to the back side top using 1/4" sewing allowance and flip around to front bend under 1/2" and top stitch to make a rod sleeve to slip the rod through. This will add 2" to the finished length. Just keep in mind rod pocket anything does not look like true custom craftsmanship!
@@Factorydirectdesignersworkroom Why did you not answer this seriously? Not everyone wants to ue wood to put up a valance. Certainly there is a way to it differently.

So beautiful but my windowsa are 120cm X 3 I have 3meter fabric width 150cm. Is it enough fabric for 3 windows? I don't know how to do this
I have learned so much watching your videos! If I want the scallops to be pleated on the sides, do I just cut them longer and then at the pleats?

How can you convert a board mounted balance to 2.5” rod pocket, but keep the rod pocket hidden?
Esta pagina podria ser traducida en español??? Me encanta.
Muy bonito donde venden los moldes
Can i make this with a rod instead of wood?
Hi! How about sewing Velcro to the top backside of the valance and self adhesive on the rod?
