    Renee awesome job on this video showing the steps. I use to have a professional workroom when my kids were young and made professional window treatments and soft furnishings to enable me to stay home with my children. I think I have almost all the M’Fay patterns.

      Cindy, Thank you for the kind words! I used to make window treatments as well - really fun designs. I think nowadays people have gone away from that. I still love it all (trendy or not). I guess my windows will be overdressed. I'm spending the winter trying to cover most of the windows in our new house - haha - we've been here almost 4 years now... Hope you're still having fun at your machines! All the best, Renee

      @@ReneeRomeo yep, we’ve been here almost 1.5 years and I’m just getting my breakfast nook and kitchen done with the Empire valance. I guess my windows will be overdressed as well!

    Renee, I have this type of curtain in my home but the trumpet part is folding in on itself. How can I stiffen the material to get it looking like it was designed to look?

    • @ReneeRomeo
      @ReneeRomeo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Victoria, Great question! You don't need to stiffen the material. I use polyester batting for this purpose. Just grab a bag, pull the stuffing apart a little bit (to get the loft up) and stuff it into the trumpets. You shouldn't need very much to train it to do what you'd like. Please let me know how it works you! Thank you. All the best, Renee

    Is it possible to explain the measurements of this work in Arabic translation? And thank you

    • @ReneeRomeo
      @ReneeRomeo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I apologize but I don't have a translation service attached to my TH-cam account. You can try to get an Arabic pattern from M'Fay. Thank you for the inquiry, Renee

    • @ReneeRomeo

      Melissa, The pattern is from M'Fay #9001. (available online) but I believe that Butterick carries a similar style (available in stores). Best wishes, Renee
