Cindy, Thank you for the kind words! I used to make window treatments as well - really fun designs. I think nowadays people have gone away from that. I still love it all (trendy or not). I guess my windows will be overdressed. I'm spending the winter trying to cover most of the windows in our new house - haha - we've been here almost 4 years now... Renee, I have this type of curtain in my home but the trumpet part is folding in on itself. How can I stiffen the material to get it looking like it was designed to look?
Hi Victoria, Great question! You don't need to stiffen the material. I use polyester batting for this purpose. Just grab a bag, pull the stuffing apart a little bit (to get the loft up) and stuff it into the trumpets. You shouldn't need very much to train it to do what you'd like.
