This is not just refreshing, but actually enjoyable to watch compared to the battlegrounds stuff. Actually seems like you can build towards something AND see/enjoy the pay off once you get it going, unlike battlegrounds where you either don't get a key piece to the puzzle, or the game ends the moment things finally start to see a result.
Came here to say, kripp talked all day on launch about how this weapon is the ultimate bait and sold it as soon as he picked it up and lost one match the first day roflmao
Kripp is misunderstanding what this weapon is for. this weapon is best on burst builds because the idea is that if you stack ammo weapons like throwing knives, guns with limited ammo, that cannon weapon that fires every time a weapon get used. you can burst almost every monster down and than this spear is your safety. it is 1 man army weapon that you only ever use if your opponent survives your burst. it is extremely strong weapon in practice because it scales for doing nothing other than winning. it is just bad in standard decks because your choosing mediocre weapon for like..... first 5 fights to be good but by the time it gets good as normal weapon, you could selected other better early game options that scale into the late game which is why it synergies ammo weapons because ammo weapons have reverse problem where they're strongest you can pick early game but have worst late game but that's ok because your picking this spear to carry your ammo weapons late game.
@@dodang_9147 Space is very precious in this game. You're either still going to have trouble fitting it in to stack it (while also actually winning the games), or you're just going to want to play more synergy items later so you can actually kill exponentially scaling pyg builds in time. It definitely is good for the build to go for strong early angles, though. Like when I won with it, I had katana + left handed to carry the early game and get the langxian nice and juiced, but I didn't keep the katana around as the game went on. I'm sure it's worked for you and all, but for me personally, my dedicated Ammo builds have been so strapped for space especially if I want to run boat.
Kripp actually died and revived in that tie at @4:50 right before the big weapons went off. The Shark Fist killed him the same moment the Heal save him. Only way to explain that situation.
Ties give you the win every time. I’ve gotten ties without heals and it gave me the win. I think they just coded it like that cause it would suck “losing” a tie.
It took me a little bit to figure out what he meant as well. @@CheeseyHR what are you saying is crip got hit by the shark fist claw weapon and should have died. However, he received a heel from his healing item at the literal exact same time that the damage is registered so it didn't actually kill him. It set him to zero and then set him to 15. Then both of the attack weapons went off at the same time and he tied. He's saying he died and then a revived before the tie.
Loving the Bazaar videos, been playing the game myself but I'm quite bad at it because I'm new to these type of games. The way Kripp takes the time to explain his thought process is super helpful and I've already gotten a lot better because of it. Hope you keep making these!
The one good thing about Langxion is that is scales without you having to do additional stuff in order for that. That means you can focus on getting the other stuff in your build to work which then will allow for the langxion to work.
4:52 - Holy moly thats an insane interaction! You had 25 HP and got hit by 57 (or 60 if the dmg increase kicks in first) but since you had only 25hp left, you got 25 damage. At the same tick, the heal item kicked in with 15 heal, so you actually survived that and won the game by tie. WTF
The key to langxian is to win by day 12 or to pivot. After that things just scale higher and faster than it. That 10 seconds cooldown makes it weak to a majority of builds haha.
I agree its not a good build tbh but I had a run where I got it diamond really early on and had it perma hasted with multi strike and lifesteal. You need to get something absurd like that for it to stand a decent chance.
yeah langxian is like aquatic shield stacking with claw, you get it and then scout for a dam, a poison item and shipwreck or dagger, crit and holster, and maybe clam or burn for the instant build
I've always enjoyed Kripps videos but BG isn't my thing so I've dropped off over the years. Now, Bazaar is very interesting and unique game that I've enjoyed wathing again! Keep up with the videos, it's a real treat to be back watching :)
Mostly because Hearhstone is a deck builder, meaning you can just look up what’s the strongest deck and then just play it every game. This game you could go into it with the same idea, and end up doing something similar, but you’re likely never going to get the exact same stuff twice.
@@z34567890123456 That's true of every autobattler. I believe this comment was in reference to BGs and how after you find direction, you just roll it down to find the same pieces every game and end up with the same builds. This game was designed to effectively force you to make different builds every time, since there aren't enough shops available to see every item every game, but the items themselves are powerful enough that you can somewhat effectively throw anything together as a build. The question is how well The Bazaar will be able to keep up that balance.
Between yours and Rarran’s videos that I’ve watched, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of your opponents win with the “all weapons deal double damage” skill hahaha
This is the second day it’s out, please Kripp don’t play too fast or atleast explain/move your cursor on things so we can pause! The people are gonna watch you to improve so please let us improve and understand the game
Item destruction seems like something that should not exist in this game, it's either going to be a feels bad mechanic or be balanced exceptionally well.
I am only judging items from videos, but Langxian looks like an S tier item but it's the kind of item that probably should not be included in the final build. I'd give it S-tier just because it can carry you early and give you time to figure out what "the rest" or the future build you really wanna pursue should be.
You also don't realize the type of OP shit that exist in this game, it's almost as everything is so overpowered that that's okay. In the late game it's almost always winning or losing instantly
@ZeOnexify Nevermind about missing a word, it was there. I saw later some Dam and Skyscraper builds which seem far too insane. But yeah, I am only judging it but what I can see, ofc I can easily be wrong, but think Lianxiang can carry early fights, but maybe it has a bit high cd to be reliable.
But Kripp D: Why complain about the Hook and Ice Pick not bein' aquatic Items? Aren't they literally climbing tools? Which then makes it totally fine that they're not considered aquatic imho.
why is one xp two bubbles. why is haste so similar to charge, they both reduce the cooldown ones a burn reduce ones a chunk reduce but essentially they do the same thing??
you get xp for completing an event, so you get 1 xp for completing the "event/hour" and an additional 1 xp for choosing the 1 xp choice, so you are getting 2 xp total. Charge and Haste reduce cooldown, but can have different triggers and synergies. think of it like charge and freeze are opposites, and haste and slow are opposites.
No they don't. If you can, you are already ahead and you are just ganna get further ahead. We don't want the gane to go into extreme win mire like that cause that would.mean there is no point continuing if you didn't get a strong start.

To be fair, this is the worst Lanxian build I've seen. It's much more consistent with Crow's Nest for 100% crit and lifesteal, then Star Chart? and Silencer to reduce the CD to 5s base. You really have to go all in to make it work, but it's all bronze items so it isn't terrible to land.
