Broken Hill is on my bucket list places to visit. My Maternal Grandfather was born there. His family mined copper in Moonta, SA in the mid 1800s and when the mines dried up a lot of them travelled to Broken Hill....some of them actually walked from north of Adelaide to Broken Hill....can you imagine it.? Great post!
$150 good score! Look forward to the big reveal and new plans I’ve loved watching you all right from the start, fresh and new with lots of rain ending with all that knowledge and some hot weather 😂
What an epic last episode of your first lap, I’ve been following from the very first one and have loved your adventures. Congrats!! (And almost at 10k subs too). The heat is extreme isn’t it, I recently did 3 days of 43 degrees driving from Melbourne to the northern Flinders Ranges in my little 2wd. (Still can’t believe I did that 😬😳). Looking forward to what comes next and so happy that you will have your doggies with you ❤️. Xx
When you go to broken Hill you have to put netting over your vents or they can wreck your radiator, I've been there 10 years ago if you go to Silverton they have the car from mad Max movie
Hi guys, Where was the pub that you had your final camp and meal at ? You didn’t say and it looked great , we’re travelling that way in august and would like to stop there. 😊
So glad you had a great last night and had the opportunity to celebrate a huge milestone in your lives, you did it! ❤ And I hope that poor bloke with the ad blue blunder was ok 🤞
@10:45 idk.. if its worth putting extra $10k+ elect system just to run aircon. Not sure what happen to old days with goodole'100-200amp to run caravan. now everyone is putting 400-600amp battery into caravan just to run aircon.
Yeah everyone’s situation is different, compressor fridges have a big impact into why we’d like more power being they rely on it 24/7. Saw a lot of people on the road in very different situations, some with massive systems that can run everything and then some with hardly any power and doing fine, at the end of the day we all end up around the same camp fire so go with what ever floats your boat! 👍🏼
Well done. You made it back. Broken Hill has a big art history that you guys should check out next time. Pro Hart art gallery just to mention one. Did you see the helicopter in the Main Street of Nyngan ? It's the one that rescued many people during the Nyngan floods.
Just wondering why generators seemed frowned upon when in the big picture the solar set up's seem so expensive and a gen not that expensive to buy or run.
I think just by some people not being very respectful and running them all night or inappropriate hours, other than that I don’t get bothered if someone runs one
Katrina here , Gulgong was after the wind farms and solar place at Wellington. Nygnan, Dubbo , Wellington, Gulgong. Little bit of Gold history in Gulgong, and some say museum is ok , but nothing fancy like Canberra 😅. Gulgong has an RSL , Bowlo , 3 pubs , 4th pub turned into Airbnb with a bar for special occasions. Lived that way for yrs , never to return there 😂😂 , typical small country town . I'd recommend Mudgee for you guys for the Brewery and plenty of wineries 😊. Is that the RSL at Merriwa ??
We don’t actually live in Coffs, we both grew up in the area though and Erin’s family lives in Korora. We live in Brisbane these days. Thanks so much for the support! We come down to Coffs a fair bit so a chance we’ll definitely bump into each other!
Trans cooler is critical. Other tip is to click the shifter across to sport mode. Less heat generated in transmission. Doesn't replace trans cooler, but it helps!
Hi guys, quick comment re the Mundi Mundi Bash and Big Red Bash: we’ve done both and it’s a great festival to take the kids to. There’s lots of families and activities and it seems to be a really safe environment. We’re going to our 5th Big Red Bash this year and went to our first Mundi Mundi on its inaugural year. Even better; both are dog-friendly events, with special dog camping and concert areas! Looking forward to your big reveal 😁😁😁
@@nowornever_aus They do, but closer to the event, unwanted tickets are listed on a specific re-sale site as often people’s circumstances change and they just can’t get there. Put it on your bucket list for sure 😁
Yeah we know how well they work, it’s just weighing up the fact that we still have factory warranty and if we install a cooler and it fails one way or another then ford won’t cover it
Unfortunately normally when you put AdBlue in a fuel system everything needs to be replaced because of how corrosive it is and can actually make the vehicle a write off
One time my wife and I drove from Adelaide to Broken Hill where we slept at the wife’s grandparents house and woke up at 1:30 and then drove to Maleny on the Sunshine Coast in 19 hrs
anything but diesel in modern engines basically trashes the injectors. If he bleeds the system he'll get it running but soon it will need a full set of injectors and possibly the high pressure pump. To be honest, he's got ho have been off the game to put it in in the first place. So maybe he needed an bit more rest, which he'll get now.

What was the name of the town, last pub you stayed behind on way back to Coffs Harbour
The Royal Hotel in Denman 👍🏼
Last camp for the lap. How sad. Hope there is more in 2023. I have been enjoying your travels.
Lots to come!! Cannot wait to share with everyone!! 🙌🏼
Where was the last place you stayed at behind the club?? Don’t think you mentioned the name of the town or the pub/club you stayed behind?
The royal hotel in Denman, great place and can be found on WikiCamps

Hey legends what is the brand and size of your cook bench you clip next to the weber on the slide out tray?
It’s a dunn and Watson fridge slide, I believe it was the 50l and under in their sizing

No we didn’t see the helicopter because I think we went the back way through town for a fuel stop

Transcooler and gearbox thermostat bypass, can sit on 120kms all day towing 2.5T 😍

Very sad!
Check you're viscous fan. Shouldn't move when engine is cold.
No, shouldn't move when engine is hot. 😂😂
🤣🤣 close enough! Fan is good thankfully, just the trans getting hot in the end
Mine did that. Started towing in sports mode and hasn't done it since.
