This is so helpful, thank you! I'm looking at retiring my old '08 xterra (std transmission) and won't drive an automatic either. People keep trying to convince me to give it up, but I won't... I love driving manual; not so much automatic. So I've been eyeing the Bronco for a bit, and really appreciate the specificity into the manual transmission you offer!
Don't forget for the parents, and dog lovers with regular back seat guest.. the air vents are finally on the center console!!! But thank you for all of this information .. I was ready to originally get one and went and test drove a 22 badlands and for not driving standard for a while like you mentioned this is a perfect learner for anyone.. At first at the dealer i was like oh my goodness sorry haha then it was fine.. Then i made the hubby take a turn... and he was just as rusty the first few gears.. But waiting now for the 25 honestly just because of the vent location .... and i wanted to ask the question you answered ... the crawl for drive throughs... or car line!!! Thank you for all of this very helpful information!!
Very welcome! Just a heads up in case this changes your plans... The rear A/C vents in the center console is only available with the 4-door automatic transmission. With the manual the gear shift knob is probably in the way of the ducting for those rear A/C vents, so they have the same center console that they had in previous model years That's why I didn't mention it in this video, the manual does not get them unfortunately.
@@tomahawkjo8574 Planning on doing another video this spring after more time has passed. A lot of people mentioned that you needed more than one oil change to see results, and I agree with that. So giving it more time.
@@RagnarKon That makes sense. Love the videos. I have a 2024 with the 2.7 and see Ford Performance makes a single catch can for it. But 2021-2022 it shows they make s dual catch can. Not sure why that is. I'm leaving towards the Ford Performance for a factory look.
Thank you for describing locking differentials without using the totally incorrect, but commonly repeated, statement that a locked differential splits the torque 50-50.
I know I sound like a fanboy but I'm not a fan boy I'm a 64-year-old man who is absolutely in love with my 2021 Race Red 2 door BBD (Bronco Black Diamond) with manual transmission. My first car was the 1969 Buick Opel with a manual transmission so that's how I learned to drive a manual shift and that was in 1977. Since then I've always preferred manual transmissions. I also love my 1995 Mazda Miata with a manual transmission. There's so much more driver - to - vehicle engagement with a manual transmission. It's bliss. I feel bad for people who never learned how to drive a stick.
Good evening. I am planning to purchase a 7 spd manual transmission Bronco Big Bend please let me know if I can order the front parking sensors as a stand alone option. Regards.
2 important things are missing. 1 Ford added rear hvac vents in 2025, but only for Auto. 2. No remote start for Manual. This makes it hard for me to choose, I want manual but I want vents too.
I disagree with two points you made. 1) the sta-bar disconnect is valuable on easy trails in the same way airing down tires makes easy tails more comfortable. It is noticeable and beneficial for an easier ride. 2) No one should do advanced trails alone. Even if you have the upper trims and all toys, don’t brave anything without friends with you.
1000% agree with #2. If I'm being honest... if it's a 6 or higher I'm going with a buddy, or at the very least letting a bunch of people know where I am. With the sta-bar disconnect... I'll admit I struggled with that one. It's just really a nice-to-have and makes the ride a lot more comfortable, but realistically it's just not needed to get through the trail. That's also why I didn't even bother rating the suspension. Makes the ride a lot more comfortable, but is something like HOSS 3.0 necessary to get through trails? Nah, not really.

Great Bronco content! Have a 25 BL 2D 7MT non SAS on order with a scheduled production last week of Feb.
Woooo congrats!!
Just traded our 4Dr V6 for a 2Dr with 4cyl & 7mt… I AM SO EXCITED!!!
Any update on the Ford performance air/oil separator? Has it been working better than on your follow up video.

Merry Christmas! Great vid as usual. Thanks.
Heritage all the way
is it true that the big Ben is the best bronco canvas that Ford offers for 2025🤷🏽

Love my manual 2-Door Bronco Badlands. Would not own a Bronco any other way. Save the manuals!
C may be a "crawl" gear now, but back in the 70's and 80's it was referred to as a "creeper" gear.
@@pl5861 Now that you mention it, anytime I’ve driven heavy equipment with a low gear like they it’s always called it a creeper gear.
sNOW!

maybe you need to take your class then🧐 it’s all good sometime people need more tools in a bucket😱
The fact that they've eliminated so many two doors is the biggest disappointment of the 2025 model.
So many disappointments it's hard to pick just one (or three) to focus on.
Yep, just scored myself a 2024 Manual for almost 20k off. There ARE deals out there…
