Great video, keep it up. The explanation videos are great but the real world comparison is better. Like with lights don't just explain them show the difference.
I use my 2014 2 door JK as a daily driver and a great weekend warrior. I'm running without a muffler. I just removed my muffler which gave me the clearance for offroad and it also gave it a subtle meaner sound...and the best part its a FREE mod!!!
Joe Stacks Yeah could perhaps be illegal in CO which is where I am, but the thing is it's not loud. It sounds just like an after market muffler so I'm absolutely not worried about being pulled over due to sound because it's not loud.
Kevin Noll Hi, no issues with motor or check engine lights or power loss. I actually had my muffler removed at MIDAS oil change center and they did it for free while doing my oil change. It took them under 10 min.
I have this same mod, did it in 2013 when I got my 2012 and I'm at 103k miles with he same cut muffler and factory resinator on he 3.6 and zero issues. So don't worry about anything, i never noticed a lose in power just the best sounding jeep in he group. Actually had a mother guy get rid of his flowmaster for the straight. Just be careful on tip choices.
I agree but I think the one with the flow master is a manual transmission model, so you can rev it to what ever rpm you want. The others sound like they're automatics, because they're electronically limited so you can only rev them to I think 4000 rpms. It's tricky because it seems like the flow master sounds better but it's actually just being revved higher.
I have the magnaflow you showed here on my 2door. Although it doesn't sound exactly like the clip shown in the video, i do still like it. It sounds closer to the red rock clip in this video.
I have the magnaflow off road pro. My neighbors despise me. Perfection. Also great with the top and doors off, slugging up to 30 sounds like I'm hauling ass. Hence why the neighbors hate me.
Hey Ryan I am interested in the Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back Exhaust but I see it can't be shipped to South Africa. Could you help me on a similar Exhaust with good sound and good ground clearance that I can get in South Africa please.
Can we get some performance numbers? You would think the better flow would be a gain of 3-4 horsepower but we all know that's not always the case considering the flowmasters and magnaflow are the same 2.5inch as stock.
Seems like the RedRock system was broken even before hitting the big rock ( @ 6:00 minutes). Hitting that rock did not destroy it, just a little bend here and a scratch there... What broke the hanger then. did you run that rock several times? Care to elaborate?
They were wheeling for a couple of days for footage. Regardless If you have a factory muffler and play on rocks, its gonna get hurt. I had a few dents in mine before i swapped it and I dont even do that much wheeling at the moment.
Generally factory exhaust systems don't focus on looks or functionality too much, mainly just keeping things quiet to please the majority of people out there. Good thing we carry lots of different options to change it though! -Zach
Alan Bridges back when the tj came out in sure yj guys cried the same thing. It's nothing personal, but jk stuff sells and in high numbers. The time when cattering to tj has come and gone. Had tj loved it, got a jk and love it. It just time and how things go.

I found the flow master one on 4WP.com and it is $119 but is just the tip compared to what is linked in the video.

Can anyone ask why these vehicles donot come with a decent exhaust system from the factory? Love my jeep but and I have lot's of mods but come on!

I like the Pypes better
I also had a Pypes and will be adding to my latest Jeep purchase. I think it sounds better and is priced better than Magnaflow and other.
