The Singer Slingers Team always manage to put on a show, wherever they go, and Louisiana Mudfest was no different. One of their many rigs was the Slinger, a supercharged big block with a whole lotta slinging potential. Louisiana Mudfest near Colfax, Louisiana - April 19-22, 2012.
The SINGER SLINGER: MOTOR- 540ci, built by Craigs Automotive of Eunice, La. 1071 Kobelco superman blower, upright Enderlie injector, custom snorkel system by ss540, running on corn mash, JW Performance converter and tranny, Profab 21" gearbox, driveshaft by Driveshaft Specialist of TX, 14.9-28 Titan SPC R2 tires, and last but not least one size 11 Georgia boot.

That's gotta be the sickest mud truck i have EVER seen in my life....and thats badass with the constant water on the windshield so he can see.

Thank you for THAT . Love the sound of the Big Block at full song, and she has a NASTY idle. But nothing in between. Like a toggle switch on the wheel for either screamin or cacklin idle. LOVE IT make more.

grant it this is one of the finest rigs ive seen,, i myself hafe a 1985 chevy custom deluxe that has the exact sam body style, and i love the look,,,i notice how he has to keep letting off the gas cause he is just climbing out of the water but yetgot stuck when in a pracarious hole,, i hope to see more of this truck actually in the mud,, by no means is any disrespect ment cause this is a very fine rig, id also like to see it with some wider tires on it,, awsome vid, truck great times guys b safe

If you'll notice, he has a 2-way radio headset. There are spotters all the way around the perimeter of the pit with radios, so he's covered in the event someone is in harms way...

Thanks, Chris! Great video! The hood scoop is so big cuz this was my first time at snorkeling a blower motor. Not easy! The truck was smoking cuz I'm running a double evac., in order to control crank case pressure.
Gotta admit pops did pretty good drivin that unit.

I was really impressed with the first run. (I never "Like" anyone's video) but I clicked on this video for that first pass and the fact that the truck didn't stall. Then it got stuck and I was sure that it was on fire and she was going on a trailer and dude was gonna be done. Wrong on both counts I was. So I think TH-cam needs a Love button and a Respect button because I would Love button the Truck all day and Respect button the driver any day. Seriously dude hide that truck I coming 4 it.

Which is why it was back running around no problem after he got pulled out? The guy knew he was stuck so instead of beating on it for a half hour and possibly tipping it over/blowing the motor, he got help. Probably hard for most to understand this type of person being smart enough to put their ego aside and ask for help but he clearly knows what he is doing.
