    Couldn't agree more about "moustache". I actually got the 75ml on notino a while back for £28.50 .....bargain. Pure class in a bottle

    Since you're a fan of Eau Sauvage and ADP Colonia, how do you feel about Moustache EDT? Saying this because the EDT is completely different from the EDP.

    Has Eau de Courreges been reformulated..?
    Just blind bought a bottle, after this excellent review but received a slightly different looking bottle and it smells of highly watered down fruit juice and alcohol 🤷🏻‍♂️
    Also, almost zero projection (a sin, right) and about 2hrs longevity of the skin scent..!

    Don't think I'll ever get enough of that superb opening of Lalique's Pour Homme edp. Many people think it's abrasive but I disagree. The greenness mixed with slightly sour mandarin, pomelo and rosemary is just FANTASTIC. 90s-esque and with the same lavender vanilla that's in Le Male/The Dreamer. Although I don't seem to be getting good performance with my 2018 bottle (last 3 digits are L18). How old is your bottle Dan? Otherwise the 125 mL is key.

    Hi Dan. Yes I do like Moustache EDP. It's a hefty bottle too. Never got my nose to Tuxedo but this is great.
    I've never seen or heard of Eau de Courreges before but it sounds very nice. Have not been able to find Aramis TR anywhere in NZ yet as I've been wanting to try it. I do enjoy Havana ;)
    I got my Lalique Pour Homme after seeing your initial review and I do love it :D Have you ever tried Lalique PH le Faune? I wish I could find a bottle of that just to try since it's no longer available :(
    And Habit Rouge I love. I have the EDT. Never tried the EDP. Have you tried the EDP? If so, how is it different?

    Great, edgy intro! Thrilled to have quite a few of the scents mentioned; shout out for the Lalique, H Rouge. After a few months, I started getting / perceiving some decent longevity out of my Tobacco Reserve. Def gonna check out the Courreges. Can see why there are folks who swear by the Floris. Never a bad time to smell classy on the cheap. Cheers.

  • @andreidanielpetre
    @andreidanielpetre 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Fantastic list, like always! I've got Moustache EDP last month and I love it. The presentation is also very high class. I will also recommend you check Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir (~ £40), Azzaro Pour Homme Intense - the one launched in 2015 (~ £40) and Cartier Declaration Parfum (~ £50). All are your style 😉.

    • @andreidanielpetre
      @andreidanielpetre 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Bluebird 71 The Bvlgari is +7 hours on skin and +16 on clothes. It's not a beast projector, it's more of a gentlemanly type. Good projection in the first hour, then a bubble around you. I find it interesting as it's both powdery and soapy. I picture a British lord wearing it. Declaration Parfum is a spicy-leathery-bitter orange in terms of scent. I don't get the cumin tho. It has a creamy dry down and it performs very well: +10 hours on skin and much, much more on clothes. It's quite strong in the first 3 hours and it has a sexiness. Both fragrances are +30 imo, not for kids who want to smell sweet bubblegummy. Both have very high quality bottles/presentations. Batches: Declaration is late 2017, BPHS is mid 2019. P.S. Take the performances with a grain of salt. On me everything lasts and performs and your mileage may vary.

    Absolutely love Moustache EdP from Rochas, I bought it on Notino Denmark for approx. £31. A super classy and expensive smelling fragrance.
    And yes, it is very similar to Tuxedo from YSL and to Black Tie Affair from Alexandria Frags.

    Got eau de courreges for 16 .29 on Amazon UK very impressed it reminds me a bit of ysl pour homme and slightly of eau Savage a lovely lime mint summery scent with a slightly retro feel it would be great for holidays and all warm weather occasions day and night it seems to have fairly good longevity and smells great sprayed lightly on clothes a real steal at the price they also have 90 ml bottles on Amazon UK for 24 pounds

    Aramis Tobacco Reserve sounds like something I'd wear. Moustache too. I love Man by Rochas, with a coffee note. I've had my eye on several Lalique frags. I used to wear Santal by Floris and haven't looked at their site in years...Everytime I watch your videos I've got my pen and paper ready to jot down fragrances to buy, especially the ones that are not too expensive. Thanks!

    Very nice tips. I love oldschool frags to brighten my mood.
    I love my totally oldschool collection of cheap socialist colognes. They still make them with the original design. What a joy to smell those chemicals LOL :D Actually some of them are quite nice and uplifting - like Olimon, Alpa Eau de Cologne (4711 style), Alpa Chypre, Alpa Eau de Cologne Fougere, Alpa Karafiat (Carnation), Alpa Farao (feels like a grandpa menthol like cologne from the 40's) - nothing for the modern days, but great for corona isolation moments :D
