I appreciate this video very much. Give it a watch people. He walks through some available spots and tells you specifically good spots.

Thank you for the nice comments. Red Rock is really a great site, very accessible, but get there early and on weekdays, because it really fills up fast. First come, first served.

Hello there. Wondering if you could answer a question: is there a water spigot near the entry to this campground, or anywhere nearby? I'm pulling a trailer and I would hate to drag a few hundred pounds of water from the Los Angeles area. Thank you sincerely for your time and video!

There are water spigots at the entrance at the "day use" area where you can also park a large trailer. The spigots are not threaded and have very low water pressure. When you go up the hill, there is also water at the restrooms. HOWEVER, when we were there the water fountains did not work and sometimes I believe they have to shut if off due to water quality control. So, the short answer, I highly recommend you bring your own water. Not the answer you wanted. You should probably call ahead (national reservation hotline 1-877-444-6777
