So it's great to have a review from a volleyball youtube star like you, doing the review in a more common language, the english. The shoe was realised in 2019, to the Volleyball world cup and the Olympics, the Japan Mens Team had used for a time to promote the shoe too. So it`s kinda strange and bad that this GREAT and nice lookin shoe hasnt the visibility that it deserves. I bought in the beggining of 2020 cause my other shoe that I played volleyball with it was a Adidas Running shoe that, in the time, I was using for more than a year, my feet felt sore after every pratice and I knew it that I needed to buy a new one. I didn't hesitate to spend what I needed to buy the best shoes so I researched for a long time before buy the Fly Elite. And maaaaan, it worthed every cent that I spent, the best shoes that i've weared.
@@Mark.o0 notice that the measurement are in the Brazil standards. I measured 41.5 size in the Asics Official Site but the store only had 41 and 42. I picked the 41 cause I still had a space to move my feet in the front and my toes didnt felt unconfortable. Almost 2 years passed and stills feeling great, I dont feel that its becoming smaller (im 18y old) and I dont feel that its softer than I want, specially in the front. The 42 when I test it felt bigger than I will need in the next years, even considering my growth. If you measure a number that the store has Nice! If dont and youre still growing year to year, consider picking one number higher (specially if you dont mind the space to move your feet). If youre older and you feet wont grow more, try one number below and make sure your toes will not touch the shoe tip. After testing (if you can) and feeling like the shoe have much space to move your feet and you want something more tight, try the Ballistic netburnet FF.

Would you reveiw the asics netburner ballistic ff? And the ff mt stands for flyte foam mid top. Flyte foam is an asics cushioning system. Nice review cosch!
Flytefoam MidTop. They have non-MT (aka low tops) in the women's models. Flytefoam is their "new" cushioning foam that's supposed to be lightweight and decent.
Could you review the Asics Gel Rocket 9 volleyball shoes? I know they aren’t top tier, but I recently bought them as my first ever pair of volleyball shoes and would love to hear your opinion on them. Keep up the great vids!
@@Dan-zt7uj Well I’ve used the Gel Rocket 9s for almost 6 months now and I like them a lot! I’m a setter so they provide good mobility and decent grip but not the best. Shock absorption isn’t crazy good but is pretty good. Idk about the gel rocket 9 but the look cooler. I’d imagine they are better but have no clue. Gel rocket 9s I can say are good tho, especially for a cheaper pair compared to others.

Do you think you could use these as basketball shoes as well? I play both basketball and volleyball and don't want to buy 2 shoes and switch in between them.
I have the black and gold version of these shoes and can basically vouch for everything Coach Donny said. Regarding the longevity, I've been using it for a year and a half now wth careful maintenance. I think one of the biggest surprises was the no break in period, but the cushion and springyness of the shoes was pretty pleasant as well. Feel free to ask any questions!
I ordered the low versions of these shoes, Tokyo Elite FF (not the MT). Personally, i preferred the lows because I've been playing with mid top shoes everytime and i feel like they limit my movements (all out). I know it provides ankle support but is there any issues with the shoes overtime?

I just got these in womens low top as I don’t like high tops. It was so comfy and snug but, I had to modify to cut off the grey part on the top/side as it was poking/rubbing against both sides of my feet badly and it felt more comfortable getting rid of it. I almost returned but it felt so comfortable that I had to modify in order to keep this shoes to work out. Can’t wait to use em on actual play tomorrow 🥳
@@nataliephann I have wide feet so I went half a size up. They didnt have any wides for a 9 in the store. You should be fine unless you have hobbit feet like me.

is it safe to use badminton shoes to play volleyball? the movement is about the same,sudden movement,jumping etc..plus volleyball shoes and badminton shoes looks almost the same

I use asics volley ball shoes for playing table tennis. The jumping isnt there but there is a lot of similar leg work.
