When they would describe the ideal amphetamine experience for an ADHD patient, I would be like - hey that sounds like how I feel on weed- so I just do that. In my experience, the disorder is kinda a spectrum like autism, resulting in some interesting self-medications. Unfortunately, also means that the only official treatments for it often don’t have the intended effects.

Both the old and the new where amphetamine based, but they thought the new one would help me sleep better. On my third day on the meds, I was suddenly apathetic. I could think about stuff I should do and things I want to do, but I could only bring myself to eat and go to the toilet. It took three days without meds before I took a shower and called my doctor. I got a lower dose of my old meds, and learned to deal with the side effects.

I'm in England, so all of our stores are liquor stores, but yeah. I'm glad Pat's getting more comfortable trying out things that used to make him more uncomfortable, as given his sleep problems and OCD, a small amount of THC might actually really help ease his anxiety and help him out a lot. It's always good to try something that might overall end up improving your life as long as you do it safely and under the guidance of people who know what they're doing and can watch you (aka Trip Sitters).
