Leica has an inherent strength: A sense of purpose - and derived from this: Pride of the people who work there. You bring this out very well. Other companies try hard to identify their sense of purpose. Here you have it all. Nice video. You should do more of this. Thank you!

Leica is passion. From the people who use it, To the woman who puts the red dot on it. I'm proud to be a part of this family.

I’m so glad that Leica hasn’t moved production to the Far East but kept it in Europe. It’s not that I don’t like the Far East but so many are following this trend but not Leica. I absolutely ADORE 🥰 Leica products. If you’ve ever owned a Leica lens (as I have) you’ll understand me. They are sublime and as perfect as humanly possible but have something that doesn’t come with technical perfection and that is “Character”

Lol. They’re not all that. If I showed you ten photos you wouldn’t be able to tell me which was taken with a Leica lens or which was from fujifilm et al.

So they basically only insert the sensor and QC an M and can legally print "Made in Germany"?

Haha. No. You only are seeing the assembly line and judging of that ?😅
They make everything in Wetzlar (this includes a lot of quality control)- but of course not the sensor... .
The camera has a lot of mechanics due to its special focusing system. Also most of the M lenses are also made in Wetzlar. The rest in Portugal (in their own factory there) - however, there is no quality difference since they operate in Portugal for over 40 years now

there is much truth to the fact that women do a much better job with fine detail production, this has been known since the dawn of the industrial age... relax Norton!

Calm down. He is not making the video about male vs female. It is about manufacturing great products. Women are better at assembly and handling smaller parts and men have their place. Try to listen and not pick a fight.
