I really appreciate that no matter what arguments are brought forward by the atheists, the Imam never wavers from the arguments he has regularly made. It shows his confidence in his belief.

Another great episode..the Imam once again articulated his points in a very respectful, calm manner. However Kudos to both men also who came forward with such calm, respectful demeanor. Very very engaging and thoughtful conversation. You can see both guests had the intention of actually understanding and observing the rational and reasonings unlike many of the previous guests who just came in for a debate without the intention of understanding. Amazing

The theory of atoms, which posits that matter is composed of indivisible units called atoms, suggests a fundamental point of indivisibility-where halving and halving again must ultimately reach an indivisible atom.
Similarly, in the realm of causality, tracing causes back through an infinite regress must reach a singular, ultimate cause, often perceived as God, the cause of all causes.
Just as we cannot see atoms directly, even with today's technology, and instead interpret their characteristics through indirect observations, we cannot see God directly but interpret the cause of all causes through the observation of the universe, such as the expanding cosmos and background radiation.
This concept also parallels the conservation of matter and energy, where neither can be created nor destroyed, only transformed, suggesting an underlying continuity and singularity in the fabric of the universe.
Thus, the existence of an indivisible atom and an ultimate cause both point toward a fundamental principle or entity at the core of all reality, which can be interpreted as evidence for the existence of God.

I am loving this series. The Imam is such a nice person. These were very constructive conversations. So far, all the atheists are very respectful.
I was wondering if the same would happen the other way around. If someone went to a Muslim-majority country with a sign "God Doesn't exist, prove me wrong,." I wanted to see the conversations that would take place. It could even be the Imam who is presenting the series, and he could say, "Atheist say this, what would you say in return?"

    • @TariqMahmood-qs5wx
      @TariqMahmood-qs5wx 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

It's interesting, I saw in the beginning of the series, the Imam was holding up a sign that said "If God Exists, Why Is There Sufering?" but I don't think we saw any interactions regarding that.
Also I think the US is still a religious country too lol

Everything that begins to exist has a cause.
    Universe began to exist.
    Therefore universe has a cause.
My issue here is with the first premise. It should have been "Every material thing that begins to exist has a material cause". Universe began to exist and it is made up of matter. So by logic shouldn't conclusion reach to "Universe has a material cause". The definition proposed by Engels for matter was that, "Anything with motion is matter". Now can you please present your thoughts on this.

Asking God for help is one thing, just remember that you prayed, because the more you get into the supernatural, then it gets harder, because now you've experienced the reality which is strange in many evident observations even in direct questions being answered almost the next day or moment. What's strange is when asking, the answer can come at different points but the answers can come in a sense of perfect timing when it needs to happen. And you'll realize oh man, was that because of that communication to existence ? But then you get more wise and more stupid, and you'll end up observing more so heavier challenges in life, and it takes more away from your life. I have always yearned to understand the more behind the curtain intellect, so it's a good and bad thing to research it. Good because you'll always be looking to further research, bad because God( supreme intellect of existence) isn't your slave, so understanding this will be problematic and good for your life. A creation isn't the creator, and the creator isnt going to give you whatever you want. Say if someone asked God for a million dollars many times, you may get the million, but you'll also be confronted with many strange events of using that million. You'll be tested very heavily, or depending on the person that asks, the answers change with the type of person. You'll be given a heavy amount of work, and it'll be hard to do anything else, leaving more considerable and honorable things behind. You'll constantly be pushed and pushed to a madness of gluttony. You'll regret ever asking, so be careful what you ask eternal existence which is the teacher of teachers. I struggle with this a bit, because there are times things make sense which I do not want, but which I want don't make sense, but wisdom of patterns is something I'm unable to comprehend well. There will be times youll have to live moments like a Nabi, and deal with people you really do not want to deal or ever know. Shunning them away is like asking for a million dollars and not expecting to get tested. God is no ones slave or magic jinn. I have many of experiences because it's my research, and I intend to research further.

I feel like Athiests seem to “want” to believe there is no God, maybe some religious trauma…
As a revert to Islam from Christianity then Atheism myself, I wouldn’t really say I “want” to believe in God (astagfirullah, I dont know how else to put it) because lawlessness on some level is desirable/tempting; however, lawlessness/no-accountability isn’t a world I want my family to live in, nor myself & 2) despite wanting to give into desires & not worry about anything ever, all the facts added up & it isn’t about blind faith in Islam so acknowledging Allah is what I believe in because I to attest to truth & it isn’t about a “want” sort of motivation. To be fair & for the record, I do want Allah to exist but I don’t rely on desire when it comes to my faith, it was a logical decision for me & not something I was convinced by a charming man in a button down at the podium while a guitarist strummed on an accoustic.

  • @GlennPayette

He says, "So when God is by definition, infinite...when you come to an infinite being, you don't ask where it started." This is circular reasoning. He gives his definition of God as infinite and then claims God is infinite. This is not a proof for God or proof that his definition for God is true. Does God exist? We don't have sufficient evidence to claim a God exits. Where did we come from and why? The simple answer to both those questions is, "We don't know." To fill in the blanks with "God" as the answer is specious. This guy is soft-peddling Islam.

We did not say that, we said that, if you wish to assert that there must be an infinity before this universe, that is, when atheists asks the question of who created God
Then the answer is that, if the being is infinite, then there can be no assertion of infinite regress, how can you have a being before a being that is infinite?
The atheists choose to attack the Islamic version of God, so the Imam defends it in accordance to the Islamic concept of God!

Its the other way around ( *Islam denys that we are a simulation- God can create anything and everything so creating a simulation is nothing for God or who you call "Islams God" , but islam denys that our existance is a simulation, there is a difference* )
we are created for a purpose, created as physical beings that occupy physical space as evident by adam's story in the quraan, if everything is a simulation then whats the purpose of the human suffering and the prophets' patience on their people? Any concept of rationality and patience is useless in the simulation theory in my personal opinion.. I remember there are talking points against the simulation thing in Islam but im not a knowledgable person on that matter so I wont say... Refere to respectable shiekhs to give you a good understanding on the topic

If the whole purpose of creation is humans and their test, God would have created humans on day one of creation. God would not wait for some billion years for the first cell to emerge and from that another few billion years for humans to take shape. If you consider the age of the universe, the time span for which humans have existed is nothing. Does not look like a God who really cared about creating life and even less about creating humans.

God is not bound by time because He created time for His creation. He does whatever He wants, whenever He wants. Additionally, God has many other creations beyond this world. So, don't think our world is all there is.
39:62 Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs.

Also I respect this channel creator for standing strong on his belief but he can't talk on behalf of science provided with the knowledge he has no experience in studying it. This is fallacious in that it is quite clearly an argument from authority.
Lol just take for example Christopher Hitchens, who HIMSELF didn't have a science degree! Therefore, would you say Hitchens did not have the right to speak about science? This is why your comment is quite irrational.
Sure, your research pulls you away, but again, if the experiment isn't correctly tuned, the conclusion will almost always be incorrect. Furthermore, you must admit that your knowledge isn't the end-all be-all of knowledge, so there may be more knowledge or experience out there that convinces you otherwise.
