I got mine 2 weeks back - the 6gb variant. The battery is draining fast, as if it's a 3k mah. I've read all users are facing this major issue. What's your take on this?

To use quick charge ...Asus has to pay Qualcomm. To enable camera2Api some amount has to be paid by Asus to Google .we are doing it by rooting on our own. Thats y both are omitted. Mi even did the same thing. They didn't use quick charge even when 636 processor is compatible.
So by rooting we can enable quick charge right? I am okay with rooting but I don't want to do it now as I just bought the device few days ago and it would be better if we wait for Asus to fix these problems
I don't think they have to pay to Google got Camera2api because it's a built in feature in Android phones. And OnePlus, Samsung and even Nokia(on the flagship and budget phones) have it enabled. If they had to pay for it, they'd market it a lot but they don't. As far as I know, implementation of Camera2api doesn't require any money to be paid

Stock android is gud but have some bugs. Main advantage is battery I get 9-10 hours screen on time and charging time is 2 hours. If u want everything in the phone to be good go with redmi note 5 pro. If u can adjust with average camera go for asus

Seriously tho it does charge very fast from 0-60 and thats enough to get you through a day. Seriously it's been a month since I bought this phone and it still hasn't gone below 10% yet because no matter how hard I try it's really hard to drain battery. Except for that multi touch issue I haven't found any other issues so far.

Go to thr apps settings and disable it. Although you won't get the google assistant anymore. With i didnt use anyway other than to set the alarm. ( Try cortana. Worked for me ) 2. Turn the data ,wifi ,location , Bluetooth etc off during charging.
What about warranty after rooting ? you unlocked bootloader through official or unofficial way ? what's best way so we can claim warranty after relocking it ?

Agree with all your points, except on the issue of loudspeakers. I just bought this model and its loudspeakers are really terrible. Need to use external headphones. Even the amplifying box isn't very great. My 4-year old Moto G2 with stereo quality dual speakers is much superior than this.
I have the 6gb ram varient and Bluetooth works fine. The camera is good too. I think there is some quality difference between the 6 gb and 4 gb varients.

While charging if you slide your finger on back panel of mobile it feels a vibration like slight amount of current.. Have you noticed it? This issue occurred in my zenfone max pro m1 (4/64 GB)

That's probably a wiring issue with your socket board. Ground it properly and your phone won't be shocking you anymore

You can manually download and easily flash updates. OTA Updates might not work
