Broke my wheelie bar and front right steering hub! Drove mine into a bench at high speed. Easy and cheap to fix. Still running strong! Love my Arrma's!
i have this truck and I can tell you it is by far the toughest rc i have ever owned. it takes a beating and just keeps going. the only weak point so far is the wheelie bar but, that is because i was 15 feet and landed on concrete at 30+ mph. this truck does 50 mph out of the box. best rc basher i have ever owned.
T. Man ever owned any traxxas? I’m looking at getting into the hobby with my kids. They have the Latrax Teton and I need something to bash around with them. I’m love this arrma so far. But I may go traxxas just cause my hobby store has many parts for them. How’s the part support for this granite?
AJ Green my traxxas breaks so is easily... I literally went 35kmh on grass and it flipped and snapped my front axle and my knuckle broke. Traxxas break far too easily do not get one
Got a V3 in green. its FAST. Down sides it overheats quick. The front toe on one wheel was pretty bad and had to adjust it. The trim just wouldn’t do it. And servo seems to either overheat or its crap as it will lock to one side and you have to turn it off and on again for it to reset🤨. Any thoughts ? Going to my local hobby store to see what they suggest. Also snapped a shock and arm. No biggie. Still love this truck👍
@@scottdennistoun8750 found out the reason it the steering gets stuff inside and jams it up. give it a few taps and good again. Pretty much all i have broken so having spares and 10mins you can swap them out. Charge your battery up and have more fun.
Bought one of these trucks on a whim one day (had never even driven an RC truck) and now I am building a 3s pack (actually 9 sony vct4s in 3/3 series parallel) got a hobbywing brushless motor and ESC on the way, already upgraded servo and shocks... Granite stock bumpers right in trash...
I bash at the Bethel BMX park all the time during the summer! It was a shock to see it in a TH-cam video, lol. That track has broken my Kraton, Notorious, Typhoon, and my Granite 3s BLX. Some of those jumps are really a big. Great video!
Last year i bought a slash 4x4 vxl and it was running on 3s lipo. But every time I would run it, it would always flip over. I was wondering if the granite 4x4 blx would have the same problem. Thanks
Bought it yesterday and took it to to have fun. This truck is fast with a 3s. Wheelies all over the place. I really like it as my second RC. Thanks for the video. Question : I forgot to ask the LHS guy if the ESC is set for LIPO out of the box? He did install a Lipo at the shop and let me try it out after I bought it, since they have a place for you to do test runs. Hehehe. They even have a small track, which I think it's amazing!

On my video I posted I had the same issues. I broke my wheelie bar, and one half of the bumper spring on the front. The mid guards hold up pretty well, some does get in, but nothing compared to my revo. I love this truck. I’m running 2s up in Minnesota 8 inches of snow and no problems yet!
I have been out of the RC game for quite some time. looking to get back into it. can you run two of these trucks at the same time without interfering with the radio frequencies.
well I finally broke down and bought the Granite BLX. I had ZD racing 9106s basher and thought it was time for an upgrade. I have had it about 2 weeks now and love it. I am in Canada so I haven't had too many opportunities to take her out as we have about 3 feet of snow and it's cold. My only gripe about the truck is the shocks keep leaking. I have heard this is a common problem though. I may try to replace the o-rings in it and see if this fixes the issue. I will also call horizon to see if they will warranty the parts. Otherwise it is a great basher
Could the mega version handle this 3s power? I have a 3s setup just sitting around waiting for a chassis to put it in. Was wondering if the $80 savings is worth it?
I’m looking to get into the rc hobby and have been eyeing the arrma granite 3s blx or the typhon 3s. Which of these 2 would you recommend (if any) for someone new? I’ve also contemplated cheaper models like traxxas rustler or stampede brushed but if I’m going to spend $150-$200 I’m tempted to just go for one of the arrma brushless for quality and performance. Welcome any suggestions. Thanks for the videos 😄👍🏻
Love the Arrma Granite, bashed it so much, needed a new body. The Redcat volcano fits perfect, ya holes and all. The Redcat body is lasting longer than the Arrma body. GO Arrma!!

Big rock has the Senton chassis, which is a bit longer, so no. I've ridden both the BLX Granite and Senton... My thought is Granite tires on the Big Rock would be you best bet if you're torn...
Got one of these for me and my son to play with and we are having greater fun with it. But unfortunately after the second run from out of the box on short grass the battery went flat really quickly. Turns out almost all the stock bearings had seized! I thought they would at least last me a month or two.

I really like that Arrma finally filled that 1/10 4x4 brushless hole in their lineup, and with such a solid truck as well.

Not to impressed with Arrma's longevity, Have 4 Arrma's and the Granite is the worst. My Losi MT has never been worked on, where the arrma has been twice. First the bevel gear in the Arrma went out, then the motor bearing went out in the Granite . Looks tough and acts tough to start, then the things a piece of crap. I really like that Arrma finally filled that 1/10 4x4 brushless hole in their lineup, and with such a solid truck as well.
Merry Christmas:)

If you don't break it eventually you're not having enough fun!
I’ve been looking to buy this but it’s over $400 (CDN) plus a $90 battery, I just don’t get the cash.
Cool truck but I can't stand plastic everything plastic shocks shock caps driveline ECT ECT for that price you should get something heavy duty aluminum atleast shock towers and shocks and drive line
@@wojtek-33 my 8th scale truggy, force rc muckraker. Comes with aluminum chassis, shock towers, nice threaded aluminum shocks, metal driveshafts, for 299
@@wojtek-33 force rc is backed by horizon hobby bud. Parts everywhere and even my hobby shop stocks some parts
But I get what you are saying. Aluminum does bend sometimes but I dont launch my cars to the moon so it doesnt happen. But for 299 arrma could have used aluminum shocks
U look like my friends dad
You've got one weird name dude 😦
Not to impressed with Arrma's longevity, Have 4 Arrma's and the Granite is the worst. My Losi MT has never been worked on, where the arrma has been twice. First the bevel gear in the Arrma went out, then the motor bearing went out in the Granite . Looks tough and acts tough to start, then the things a piece of crap. I'm sticking with the Losi's that I've never had to deal with these problems.. The long run is the big picture and My 2 Arrma's (I also have a Typoon)That has gear problems. My other 2 Arrma's Kraton and Talion are OK for now, but I don't run them near as much. I Don't trust Arrma's longevity. I"ll never buy another one again. Have 2 HPI Maverick Strata junk cars basically and they lasted longer than the Arrma Granite. I'm done with Arrma Hype!
Lol I have that car
My buddy has this piece of shit truck that keeps breaking n the parts r out of stock!!
Teach him how to drive then.
Dirtyrc b lol
