I am new to RC, but I can already tell this is gonna be my fav channel. Very entertaining and informative, slick edits and no beating around the bush. Except when its for durabiliti testing, of course! Keep up the great work, Max & Evan!
I looked at the Granite for a while a couple years ago and discovered the Big Rock to be even better. Definitely doesn't have the tip over problem with its stance! Big Rock was our first Arrma and still gets a ton of use to this day.
Good video mate. You really can't go wrong with one of these. I know whenever I get ask what to buy when 1st starting out bashing I always suggest a 3s Arrma or the Team Associated Rival MT10. There's truly a lot of fun and value for money in rigs like these. They are tough, easy to work on and have plenty of parts availability. Basically everything you could want 💯
can't wait for the rough session.... a must do with those slipper clutch from arrma is to seal it for sand where the spur is. otherwise motors get stuck and spurs get shredded, A metal spur is important too but if you run on sand and dirt the sealing is a must.
Great vid Evan. This Granite is so fun and takes a pounding…obviously. The thing jumps and stunts so nice! Widening the stance is a nice mod and the wing saves the body….Gonna run mine tonight. !
Jus wanna say thank you for your help on 2995 tires...much better bigger , 3s battery ..Yes please!!! So so much more fun again thank you love you n your lil mans vids!!!👊❤️🔥
First time I’ve been in over 10 years since our old house was in the south and we always went to Iroquois park. I never knew they remodeled this one til we got there last week. Couldn’t believe how nice it was. Thanks!
Making it my sons first big rc car. I'm excited, more than him. Watched 2000 hours of videos just to learn about rcs, lipo batteries, chargers, connectors, smart batteries, tools, your channel is my favorite. Thank you
My Granite is probably my favorite machine of the 23 I currently own. Amazon had a flash sale a few months back and I got it for $250, definitely the most bang for the buck of what I own! Its so light on its feet and hauls arse! Its fun ripping through the yard throwing leaf rooster tails lol
I just bought a this vehicle as a result of research and the timely offering of a payment plan on Amazon with no interest. I tried 2 of the MJX vehicles first, the H16BM had a diff fail within a month (on 3s with only mild bashing) then i got the H14BM which lost 2 hex screws because a rock jammed the steering arm. Then a rear wheel arm (whatever that bottom section is called) got loose and the pin keeps wanting to fall out, which is probably from wiping out 2 or 3 times on asphalt at top 3S speed. I upgraded with 25mm wheel spacers, which got much better stability. But the MJX is still sorta toy grade, never can trim properly to drive straight. I enjoy the MJX 14301 for drift. The Infraction seems to be a money-pit that i can't afford, so i went with the Granite BLX. I can already tell I'm going to enjoy replacing the diffs with the easy access part you didn't mention in your video. I don't think they even talked about that feature on the Amazon product page. I'm not a seasoned mechanic, and i had to draw a picture of the 14301 and tape the screws to various areas of the picture, so i can remember where all the different screw sizes go while waiting 5 days for a new spur. Great video, I'm glad to see this Granite can take a beating, since this is my first 1:10 scale, and there will be a learning curve, since I'm new to the hobby.
Glad you like the video. Ya I didn’t really realize quite how easy it was to work on for this video. Much easier than the mix I agree. The servos are junk in the hypergos and I believe that’s one reason it won’t go straight. I widened my hypergo H14BM not too long ago if you haven’t seen that video. Actually I also just widened a granite. That’s pretty sweet too.
I haven’t found a set I really like yet lol I’m going to be doing a video on things like that soon. I do have some hand tools coming in that I’ll be testing out. For now these are the ones I have: amzn.to/3PLT2zp
Damn bro, that was awesome! Remind me how many kids you have again? 😂Man you do a great job keeping it all together! I also really appreciate you recognizing those flags flying at half staff for the lives lost on that horrific event. I’m right there with you bro! This rig was an absolute stunner, and the fact that you could do a forward flip and then reverse it into a 3/4 back is wicked impressive! I’d dare say that Arrma has it going on. They may be a bit stiff and not as flexible, but at least they use a compound of plastic that doesn’t break easily. Most excellent and freakin radical stunt show bro! You are da man!👊🏼😎👍🏻🙌🏼💯
Thanks Robby!! I’ve got 4 of those human-like creatures running around! Max (you might know of him 🤣) who just turned 6 in February, Sammie who will be 4 next month, and Cooper and Claire who will be 2 in August. Ya I can’t imagine the horror of situations like that, which happen way too often. The Granite was awesome and yes the plastic is much more stiff but man is it tough. That being said, you may remember I broke the rear knuckle on my Senton a couple months back. They are the same part I believe but it was also cold outside that day. Thanks again! I do it cuz it’s fun!!! 😀
Just subscribed. Picked up this hobby when my wife asked me to quit playing computer games all day lol. Thanks to your review, among others...I'm certain I will be buying this truck. I was into Kevin Talbot's page for a bit but got tired of seeing him purposely destroying good RCs. Nice to come to your channel where I can watch an RC be put to the test without being destroyed. kudos my friend, and I look forward to watching more of your videos!
Hey man thanks! Yup I try to find that middle ground where we show durability, but never purposely break anything. Yup this is an incredible truck for sure!! Have you ordered one yet? They’re on sale!
Landscaping mesh with the smallest amount of shoe goo on the top screws to cover the fans is working great on my RC s . Cut it to shape , lay it on .a couple minutes later give it a push to make sure . I was going to use steel screen but blades of grass can still go through. There’s still an 1/8 on the sides for stuff to get in but I haven’t noticed anything on the k6s in three months or the rlaarlo .
The Granite was my first MT and by far is a very fun truck that I still own. The body hold downs not that good, the back of the body will get severely damaged but if you install a wing from a Typhon it won't be as bad. Definitely fun RC and have a blast with it every time it comes out.
You've got the Granite, I finally got the Kraton 4s! Yess!! First little modifications are already on and waiting for the other parts (M2C etc.). But damn it looks awesome! And I might edit the video how I was unboxing it and building it
Nice first bash. IMO nothing beats the Granite’s air control. So well balanced in the air, pulls more flips with less air than just about any other RC AND just as importantly, you can stop and control the flips really well thanks to the light weight. The only other RC I’m interested in is a Tekno MT410 (also light weight and great in the air).
I agree! The rival mt10 and the redcat mt10e can’t even get close to a backflip on 2s and the granite got it about 95% and still landed it. Definitely a great choice for anyone!
One of the top go to channels for durability testing , upgrades and general good information on RC cars . This is a great reason to support this channel in any way you can . A like , a sub or whatever feels right .
Great video again, buddy! Lots going on, you and that oldest boy are having the best time with little plastic toys cars possible! The truck looks great, definitely seems like good quality for sure!
New sub! This is an awesome video and you are local to me! Never been into the memorial area to realize it has some good spots but I pass it all the time. I recently moved to Shelbyville.
Awesome man! I hadn’t been to that park in over 10 years. Completely remodeled since I was last there. If it wasn’t crowded, there would have been even better spots lol We just moved in November and we probably looked at over 20 houses in Shelbyville. We hadn’t sold our old house yet so none of our offers bit. Happy where we ended up though!
Haha! Eventually I’ll do a comparison on all 3 but not sure when as I have 5 new RC review videos minimum next on the list. So many new cars in Spring season!
@@DerbyCityRCu convinced me to get the granite I have the mt10 which I like very much it’s light and jumps so I hope this will be a good basher as well
Lol man I tell you! I made that cartwheel into a short a couple days ago I was so impressed lol. If that tree didn’t stop it, what you saw wouldn’t have even been half of it lol. Still had a lot more hill to go down and into a creek possibly 🤣
Hey Evan! I am new to the RC world. Love your vids. Very informative and funny to. I have the Granite 4x4 V3 BLX as my first. I wanted to know what shock oil weight you would prefer? I love jumping and I keep getting a lot of chassis slap with the stock shocks and i used 60wt along with the shims. I have the Proline Power Stroke Shocks i was going to install. Please advise.🤘
Damn...I thought you only had 2 of those! And by that I don't mean the RC cars...haha...you have my respect as a father of 2 boys...keep up the informative and funny videos
I’m pretty new to rc cars I bought the arrma big rock and the granite the steering servo went out in the big rock one the 5 battery pack. And the granite I just bought the steering servo went out on it with 3 battery packs.
Great stuff. You have some crazy luck. One video you drift slap a wheel and your son catches it. This one you manage to side tumble your Granite all the way down a hill.
Nice review! That thing took a pounding. But the most impressive thing about this vid is that you got through it without a busybody self-appointed code enforcer confronting you at that memorial park. 😂
Thanks! Ya there was a dude driving around emptying trash cans. But I was trying to be as respectful as possible and stayed mostly way down that hill the car crashed down lol most “code enforcers” won’t want to walk that far 🤣 There was one trash can down there and it was overfilled so I felt safer lol!
I just want to say I’ve had one for about two years and the number one upgrade you should do for stability is wider stance and then the motor mount is very flimsy after you hit a whole bunch of jumps. It will bend so that is one thing you need to get for it. If you wanna continue bashing it like that.
Well, you can't put a kid in a car seat in the front passenger seat because of the airbags. So, seeing a (kids) car seat in the front passenger side, other dads should realize immediately that there is something funny going on. I don't know if it's "illegal" to put your child seat up front, but it's highly discouraged and probably voids your warranty (for the child seat. Children themselves don't have a warranty)
@Boogie_the_cat Well, I appreciate the concern (truly), however this is a minivan. The seat I put the Granite in is the middle row. No child seat up front.
If you were to buy it all over again, what would you pick between the Granite, Big Rock, or Vorteks from the 3s line? Or would you step up to the Kraton 4s model for a few more $$?
I’m happy enough with the granite that I’d do it again, however the 4s line is awesome. Have you seen my new 4s outcast video? It’s probably my favorite RC car. Almost finished with the 4s Mojave video too, and that ones incredible as well if you don’t plan on doing tricks and flips. It’s ground control is awesome.
@DerbyCityRC The 4s outcast and 4s kraton appear to share a lot of parts and build quality. Coming from you stating it's your favorite says it all. Sounds like a clear winner to me. Can't wait to check out the new videos!
@theCHAD_official Awesome man, glad you trust my judgement 👍 If you’re able and when you’re ready to buy, using the links I provide in the description helps us out immensely. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions bro. Thanks!
Your right it's a superbeast it's fast fun & SUPER DURABLE I BOUGHT MINE A FEW WEEKS AGO,TO BE HONEST AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT was lame the brushed version out of the box overheated to the point were you could smell the motor burning up.thats fine because I only bought brushed version because I have a used blx100 system w/3200kvblxmotor I'm a cheap skate.trustme I saved acouple hundred bucks
Love your vids, bro, always put smile on my face, was that an heuy cop, & sherman tank 🤔,,hey your son dos good jumps, shame on me, still don't know how to back flip 😱😱lol,Love to see your kids enjoying life, oh to be a kid again, 😁👍
That’s awesome, man! Thanks for telling me! 😊 I’m not sure what type of chop chop or tank, but they sure are cool! Yes he’s getting the hang of the backflips. Just takes practice and a powerful enough motor with heavy enough tires! No kidding! Even to be 25 again! 🤣
@goofymaniak20 I think zeee batteries are awesome actually. Just make sure you got the ones with the EC5 connector: amzn.to/3YK1e7t Also, that charger should work, but I don’t believe it will have any of the “smart” functions without using their “smart” batteries. I’m not sure fan of the spectrum batteries though. I think zeee is better.
Man I’m just gonna blow my Saturday rabbit holing all your vids on 3s bashers!!! Really love your taste in RC’s! Looking for the perfect 3s capable yard and park basher. 2s yard and 3s park. Seems best bang for the buck and getting good quality to boot is Arrma. Now just gotta decide Big Rock, Vorteks or Granite. 🤔
Haha, don’t leave 4s out! Though pricier. The other one to consider is my recent video on the WOV Racing car. Same price as the Arrma 3s. Not necessarily better, but it’s alot of truck!
@@DerbyCityRC I’ll have to check that out too. Funny I knew you might mention 4s. Yeah the budget is gonna top out at 3s batts for now. Really tight budget. But also want parts availability too. How’s the WOV parts support? Heading to work but will run that vid in the office while I work. 😎
I love your channel. Rcs are about having fun especially with children. I own a couple of traxxases and need a fun durable basher. I was thinking of the these little chinese bashers hbx 16889a pro but they are getting expensive. They are almost half the price of an arrma granite. Do you think it is a better choice to just buy the granite and skip the hbx16889a pro?
Thanks!! Both the cars are awesome in their own way. Personally I like having the hbx also. Wait for a good sale and I’d say snatch up the hbx if you think it looks fun to you!
I just realized its Truck Month at Horizon and I can pick a granite up for 260.00. Im very much considering getting it. it looks amazing thanks alot for the vid. I just got me an aeroscout plane so now I need me a truck
It’s a toss up. Durability is definitely very similar and the granite is faster and has more torque, but the rival handles better. I’ll know more once I do my comparison if the two which should be soon. I don’t have a big rock but I would say more breaks is definitely possible since it’s a slightly larger car.
The granite is awesome, but my favorite is the outcast 4s: bit.ly/derbycityrc Arrma Outcast 4S NEW V2.5 - (Hard Testing!) th-cam.com/video/o57jwcRYrNM/w-d-xo.html
$120 is a bit tough, but I’d check this video out if you haven’t seen it. It’s the best cars for $150 and under. A fe are under $120 though 👍👍th-cam.com/video/LnMqcFo1_0s/w-d-xo.html
Cool truck. I have the bigrock and i'm interested in any problem that occurs in the future with the plastic gears and the plastic drive shafts that lead to the wheels. Please let us know. Also let us know how you fix them maybe with metal parts. By the way the car seems very stable in the air when front and backflipping.
Thanks!! Yes everyone will know about pretty much any breakage on any of my cars. I usually always repair them on a video. This was extremely controllable in the air. One of the best I’ve got
@@DerbyCityRCLooking forward 😉. Next week i get a pair of 3s lipos for the bigrock. Hope it flips nearly as good as the granite in spite of the bigger wheelbase.
I ripped one too, but it took a few months. It happened when the truck leans under throttle and makes one tire spin double the speed. Most people upgrade them with Proline Badlands once that happens, and probably what I’ll do too. Tires blowing out is common for many high powered RCs.
I don’t have the big rock, but I’d say more than likely granite for stunts and flips, big rock for more stability. Another close contender would likely be the vorteks which I believe I’m getting soon.
Also, @ 7:25 the slipper, only prevents the spur/pinion from being chewed up, from shock to the drivetrain. You're talking about a differential.........Sorry, man, not trying to be THAT guy.........too late? lol
@@DerbyCityRC after just two battery runs on my granite the body already have cracks in the back. My other Arrmas body`s Typhon and Big Rock feels unbreakable compared and i haven't a clue how many runs those cars have, they have been trough some pretty rough jumps and crashes but they're body`s dont crack even if they get twisted or land ugly on the body shell, you just bend the body`s back in place if its bad and they are good again with some visible marks OFC but still in very good shape. If i had put the Granite trough this there wouldn't be any body left LOL I'm going to try strengthening the Granite body with fibertape and glue, if that don't work i will get me a durable body from a different brand :)

Dang that stinks. No issues here yet
Definitely the best RC here on the channel, I even think it to be better than the rival one
That’s a tough call. They both have a few qualities the other doesn’t have. I’ll be doing a thorough comparison soon enough!
That is a tough RC. I have wondered about it too, never know if that may be one of my next RCs! Great video Evan!!
Yes it’s a tank!
Thanks Brad!! 😃
Just found your channel and loving it! You’re like a less annoying Kevin Talbot who’s also a family man😂
Awesome, thanks!
So only “less” annoying? 🤣🤣jk.
Thanks I appreciate!!
Great stuff. You have some crazy luck. One video you drift slap a wheel and your son catches it. This one you manage to side tumble your Granite all the way down a hill.
And do a perfect limbo under a picnic bench 🤣🤣
It is quite interesting that a 3200KV motor can deliver so much power.
So much a ripper ...And " Ladies n Gentleman the best Truggie cartwheel EVER!!!❤️🔥👊
Haha! Almost thought it would go on forever!
Awesome I should be getting mine this week
💪💪💪🤘
But why? Why you didn’t wait for Max?!! 😁 nice test as always and with happy kids around 👍😊👍
Haha! Wife was ready to go right then lol
Thanks and thanks!!!
Just got this truck for my daughter, it’s a lil beast it takes all her abuse an backflips real easy for her.
Yes an awesome truck!!!
I love my 3s Typhon, the 3s Arrma line is awesome.
I agree!!
Typhon 3s i think its the best of them, longer wheelbase, wider stance...cant beat that.
I’m sure that’s great too!!
I’m sure I’ll get more in the 3s lineup!
My Senton is awesome too just in a different way lol
i'm amazed when you drop the box 😀
Haha!
Me too!
I got a lot of kids also six of them I love this guy great video dude
Man 4 is a lot of kids 🤣. Six sounds awesome though!
Glad you like the video!! 👍👍
Another excellent video! I love my Granite BLX, it's a beast!
Thanks! I love it too!
1:33 😅 plus the rc car that rolls 100 times wtf 😄
Haha! I thought it would never end!
Excellent review!!!!! You just sold another one lol. But I might go with the green one. Thank you
Awesome, thanks!
The green looks awesome too!
Looks like a lot of fun😎
Definitely!
Nice review! That thing took a pounding. But the most impressive thing about this vid is that you got through it without a busybody self-appointed code enforcer confronting you at that memorial park. 😂
Thanks!
Ya there was a dude driving around emptying trash cans. But I was trying to be as respectful as possible and stayed mostly way down that hill the car crashed down lol most “code enforcers” won’t want to walk that far 🤣
There was one trash can down there and it was overfilled so I felt safer lol!
I just want to say I’ve had one for about two years and the number one upgrade you should do for stability is wider stance and then the motor mount is very flimsy after you hit a whole bunch of jumps. It will bend so that is one thing you need to get for it. If you wanna continue bashing it like that.
I have another video where I did the wide kit and added the center differential assembly. It’s pretty awesome!
'' ...And of course our most precious cargo..."" (put the granite in the kids seat) 🤣🤣🤣!! Love you dude 😋
Haha! Almost a year later and I think you might be the first to comment on that. Thanks man!! 🤣
I’m not sure what type of chop chop or tank, but they sure are cool!
Yes he’s getting the hang of the backflips.
Just takes practice and a powerful enough motor with heavy enough tires!
No kidding! Even to be 25 again! 🤣
Any recommendations for battery and charger? Trying to keep it inexpensive
Are you wanting 2s or 3s?
@DerbyCityRC I bought 3s 5200 80c zeee and the smart charger from spectrum g2. But I'm not sure if that's the right choice
@goofymaniak20 I think zeee batteries are awesome actually. Just make sure you got the ones with the EC5 connector: amzn.to/3YK1e7t
Also, that charger should work, but I don’t believe it will have any of the “smart” functions without using their “smart” batteries. I’m not sure fan of the spectrum batteries though. I think zeee is better.
@@DerbyCityRC thank you. My son and I love watching your videos.
@goofymaniak20 you’re welcome and I’m super happy to hear that!!
Awesome RC Video, Tested To The Max!
Keep up the good work fella. Massive 👍's up.
Thanks man!! 👍👍
i live in your area, i would like to make a few bash videos with you at the skate park or the louisville radio control club
Nice. Which skate park? I’m sure we could work something out.
Awesome man! Yes that’s a killer deal! I posted about it a few days ago! Love my granite! bit.ly/4708BvD
Yes, that link helps us out. I’m shameless! 🤣
I have it narrowed down to a Granite or Rival MT10. Same price, what you think?
Or the Big Rock? I've heard that breaks the arms more because they are longer?
It’s a toss up. Durability is definitely very similar and the granite is faster and has more torque, but the rival handles better. I’ll know more once I do my comparison if the two which should be soon. I don’t have a big rock but I would say more breaks is definitely possible since it’s a slightly larger car.
@@DerbyCityRC THanks for the input!
Your welcome!
What is the best jumper basher under$500 in your opinion buddy
The granite is awesome, but my favorite is the outcast 4s: bit.ly/derbycityrc
Arrma Outcast 4S NEW V2.5 - (Hard Testing!)
th-cam.com/video/o57jwcRYrNM/w-d-xo.html
How often do new videos come out?
I try to do one a week but I’m a super busy dude and usually ends up being one every 2 weeks. 😎👍
Your driving skills are A-1 & those front flips are🤯🤯🤯
Thanks my friend!!! 👍👍
I pretty much front flip every car I’ve got 🤣🤣
Been to that park, very nice. i work in jtown. good review.
Awesome! Ya I hadn’t been in over 10 years. They really revamped it. Super nice!
Thanks!
I’m about to get the granite but I don’t have a 3s lipo charger. Any recommendations? I’d like a dual charger is possible.
The one I got was from a local hobby shop. Wouldn’t say it’s amazing or anything. This one here should do the trick! amzn.to/3I4q9tz
May need to get a couple ec5 to deans plug adapters
@@DerbyCityRC thank you!!!
You’re welcome!
Am I correct in that the charger cannot charge 2 3s lipos at the same time?
This was a awesome video. Made me laugh with the cart wheel. Keep it up.👍👍
Thanks man! Ya that was quite the cart wheel 😅
What is the best rc car you would recommend under $120
$120 is a bit tough, but I’d check this video out if you haven’t seen it. It’s the best cars for $150 and under. A fe are under $120 though 👍👍th-cam.com/video/LnMqcFo1_0s/w-d-xo.html
Hey bro can't find a bady for deerc 9201e Baja...can you place help me find one
Check pxtoysrc.com
They usually have the available bodies for these cars. Hope that helps!
Fun video as always.
Random...but what do you use for the gos/speedometer? The faster the car goes the more hesitant i am to keep using my phone 🤣
In this video I had this one: amzn.to/3vi1oH7
Then I got a different one but it recently exploded from too many crashes, so now I’m back to this one 🤣
Awesome. Thanks! We just got another foot of snow so i have some time to fix stuff @@DerbyCityRC
The wheel base will probably slow it down somewhat in the air but I’m sure it will be close!
Good stuff man
Thanks!!
Next video. Can you compare it to the latest Traxxas Stampede 4x4?
It's a dank ride!! Wider is better, hot racing adapter with badlands I'm runnin
Nas nas, that’s real NAS!!!! I agree it needs some width!
My rear tire ripped the same day I got it
I ripped one too, but it took a few months. It happened when the truck leans under throttle and makes one tire spin double the speed. Most people upgrade them with Proline Badlands once that happens, and probably what I’ll do too. Tires blowing out is common for many high powered RCs.
Thx for the great vid.
You’re welcome!
Good stuff
Thanks!!
My boys have the granite they are great trucks.
Yes it’s n my top 3 favorites
It's Really monter indeed 👌
That it is!!
Awesome vid n nice air
Awesome truck!!!
Absolutely is!
Dollar for dollar, best 3s truck on the market!!
Definitely!
Awesome vid aa always max is funny 👍
Thanks! Yes he is lol!
Nice, let's watch 👍
Awesome video! Good laughs
Thanks!! 😀
Granite or Big Rock?
I don’t have the big rock, but I’d say more than likely granite for stunts and flips, big rock for more stability.
Another close contender would likely be the vorteks which I believe I’m getting soon.
Damn that thing is a tank.
Also, @ 7:25 the slipper, only prevents the spur/pinion from being chewed up, from shock to the drivetrain. You're talking about a differential.........Sorry, man, not trying to be THAT guy.........too late? lol
That’s what I mean. I kind of under-explained it a bit. Thanks for helping clarify lol
@@DerbyCityRC You're one of my new favorite RC channels, dude. Sure is cool seeing your boys involved too. Keep it up, man!
Thanks man we appreciate that a ton!!!
Oh and I picked that color before I saw the video… it’s different. Everybody does green and black
It’s weird I hadn’t seen many green/black ones, but it won best color on the poll I did lol Nice pick!!
Arrma Granite body shell is a noticeable thinner and more fragile body shell than my Typhon’s and Big Rock’s
Interesting. It seems about the same as my Senton, but definitely not as thick as my 6s Kraton. Good to know though!
@@DerbyCityRC after just two battery runs on my granite the body already have cracks in the back. My other Arrmas body`s Typhon and Big Rock feels unbreakable compared and i haven't a clue how many runs those cars have,
they have been trough some pretty rough jumps and crashes but they're body`s dont crack even if they get twisted or land ugly on the body shell, you just bend the body`s back in place if its bad and they are good again with some visible marks OFC but still in very good shape. If i had put the Granite trough this there wouldn't be any body left LOL
I'm going to try strengthening the Granite body with fibertape and glue, if that don't work i will get me a durable body from a different brand :)
I hear ya!
Even the 6s Kraton body is a bit flimsy. I went with a Basher Bodies and it’s been tough AF so far
