I'm taking Ozempic now. 0.5 per week. No weight loss, but my A1c is now within normal range. I haven't noticed a decrease in allergic symptoms, but I will try to pay more attention to it.
I've been to two ENT's and an Allergist growing up and no one could explain why my allergies give me worse symptoms than if I had the common cold, every time I have an episode. My allergy test came up with nothing. Any ideas what would cause such a strong reaction? My ENT says my nose looks perfectly fine and healthy. At this point no medications work anymore as my body has grown used to Zertec, Claritin, and one other that I've used for years. It was manageable as a kid but now it makes life just a challenge.
This is interesting. I just started semaglutide. I’m already on xolair, high dose Zyrtec, and Pepcid to treat my idiopathic angioedema, but that would be nice if it could also help manage my reactions. Luckily I’m fairly well managed but there are a lot of foods I still can’t have like most fresh fruits and some fresh veggies. I do better with processed foods, because of course..😂
I noticed that I haven't seen tweets from you on Twitter. We are mutually following each other. I just tried to pull up your Twitter account. You aren't showing up as haven't a Twitter account. Did you deactivate your account?

I noticed a huge difference in my allergies after I stopped taking- didn’t really notice while on GLp1 agonist-but wow sure did once I stopped.
Is anyone conducting or planning any clinical studies to look into this more directly?
@@WxBuggin I’m not sure yet
