I'm not going to lie and say that I watched hus ROH summer of Punk storyline as I didn't know much about him until WWE but going back and watching it made me appreciate how good he was even back then.
CM Punk during ROH was truly magnificent. While I didn’t watch ROH as a kid, as I was a WWE kid through and through, when I saw a lot of Punk’s stuff online, I was shocked on how amazing it all was. Truly a great catalyst on what would become one of the best names in all pro wrestling history, for better or worse.
Lol i was at the austin X punk match. The ending of the match was so funny because for his entire roh career jersey hated punk. But finally he gets cheered by them and he tuens on them 😂
I've met him at warped tour while back he's cool as hell straight up dude just don't take any shit off anyone he's one of the best of all time no doubt about it him and Bryan.danielson aj styles Kenny Omega Kevin Owens my favorites from the indies
Notice the descriptions of the matches... holds abound, big spots _occassionally_. Character traits and stories being told. "You genuinely thought every clothesline could be the finish". But then a certain merry band made it to RoH, turned it into PWG, and are trying to prove that this was a vision the whole world can enjoy. Nope. 04/05 RoH was a product worth showing the world. After like 09ish? Not so much.
