  • @AbhishekSingh08
    @AbhishekSingh08 2 ปีที่แล้ว +24

    Somehow I agree that Critical Thinking is not as much prevalent as it was, but this is because of extremism of Muslims over the time and this gave birth to the extremism of Hindus, and creation of Pak was the seed of it, even if you do not accept it, but this is the truth.

      It has nothing to do with religion. The populism in politics ensured that politicians were only talking about popular topics and the voters were never given the agency to think of their own.
      How many voters even read the manifesto of parties today, forget about questioning the points? It has nothing to do with hindu-muslims and everything to do with politicians.

      @@satyamparashar7921 thousands of people did die but it was not systematic communalism, majority of Hindus still had no problem with living non Hindus but after Pakistan majority of Hindus thought they couldn't live with us and demanded separate land so why we should live with them, we are also different from them. When someone's trying to build something, its tough to reach that spot, where you can create something new, instead of being vexed or overcritical of things out of control (which is understandable ) it's always better to start working on oneself in whatever capacity one can. Life's short, give it your best shot. Don't be bitter. have a great life.

    Yes india closed its economy for foreign untill 1992...India at that era was influenced by Soviet style of government...untill 1992 indias policies were more Socialist and Communist in nature
    But this policies neither benefitted home industry nor brought foreign currency into india...
    1991 was the first and last time when india had to take loan from IMF

    • @scientia.veritas
      @scientia.veritas 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The socialist-style economics benefitted India initially. But by the 70s, the stringent licensing policies and corruption made it really hard to setup MSMEs, all the whole foreign companies were also unable to properly function. If subsequent government had followed Nehruvian policies properly, we would have never been the situation we were in the early 90s.

    These 20 yr olds are students of Indian's top Technology Institute ( IIT Bombay) admission to which is only through a very competitive exam ( national) and you need to get a very good rank to get into that Institution. India in 1960s had lower literacy rate than today, and most of the students of the top Institutes in India were educaed in English medium schools and came from middle class families ( where a father typically also studied in English medium school and was working in a good job). So the people in the video are very articulate in English. As an IIT-B teacher this video is as you said " pure gold". Gratifying to see Victor Menzes ( a man i know) in his IIT days.

    India main bhai polarisation hai toh opposite bhi hai uska awareness. Times chnage people evolve but the essence of a culture remains same.
    ON the other hand u can talk on Pakistan and its polarisation. Even its formation was a joke. Also on Bangladesh. Anyways... Its a beautiful video definitely worth cherishing.

    Pataudi was not a Bengali. HIs wife Sharmila Tagore is a Bengali. Pataudi was from North India. For your information Pakistan's foreign minister Sahibzada Yaqoob Khan was Pataudi's causin. Sahib Zada Yaqoob Khan had some property in Bhopal, now it is with Pataudi's.
