There is a mistake in the slide. The lesser Yang is a solid line and the lesser Yin is the broken line. See the corrected slides on my blog post: picturehealer.com/blog/i-ching-divination-with-3-coins
The explanation sounds really spiritual. I didn’t know Chinese culture had such strong connection to nature and divination. I thought it was mainly technology and capitalism. Thanks for sharing this educational video.
I read that this was the way Philip K Dick wrote “Man in the High Castle”. He would ask a question and do I ate the answer then write a portion of the book.
I have 10 6 sided dice with the first 6 Trigrams 1: ☰ Heaven (Qian) 2: ☷ Earth (Kun) 3: ☵ Water (Kan) 4: ☲ Fire (Li) 5: ☳ Thunder (Zhen) 6: ☴ Wind/Wood (Xun) since its not 8 sided im missing ☶ Mountain (Gen) ☱ Lake (Dui) are these dice worthless or is there something i can do with them?
I would like to use my Baqua coins for I Ching use but I'm not sure which side should be yin or yang. One side shows the 8 hexagrams surrounding a yin-yang symbol, the other shows a sitting Buddha figure. Thanks.
Great video! Thank you for sharing!
