They put on one of the best shows I’ve ever fucking seen. They were celebrating 25 years together as a band and they still put on a monster show!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🔥🔥

After so many years I still consider this one of nu metal's best songs ever, such awesome groove and some of the tastiest riffs ever in the genre, and an overall awesome dark feel.
Something about the way the video slows down at 3:16 just hits different. The whole rest of the video is chaos and unbridled energy and for just a second, there's a moment of focus and clarity.
People like to insult Nu'Metal, but straight up: what other band sounds like Linkin park, or Deftones, or KoRn, or Slipknot, or Limp Biscuit, or Mudvayne, or P.O.D., or Sevendust, or even Disturbed?? - Nu'Metal my not have been the most "brutal" sub-genre, but at least it allowed bands to be unique and create new sounds.

The drumline in this song is just primal as fuck. I can tap out the intro on a table and even Gen Z "folx" recognize it. They can't NAME it but they know it somehow. I think Sevendust tapped a blood memory with this one.
I remember when I first heard this track I was walking by my tV and it stopped me in my tracks like the first time I heard Smells Like Teen Spirit! What a breath of fresh air with the sound these guys have. I think it was a combo of the low tuning and the sound from the gut growling and R & B singing of Lajon Witherspoon that makes this band so original! Met these guys in Hampton Beach in the day and they greeted me like a long lost friend. great southern hospitality. partied with them till I had my fill, great bunch of guys!!
