i was but a youngin back then but that was around when I discovered them too. Love these guys. ripe ol 42 now. I still remember my greyhound bus ride, long trip to go to Job corps to change my life. Listened to sevendust almost the whole way there. So much nostalgia.

I discovered them in '98 at 24. I will be 50 in a few weeks. This new album makes me feel exactly as I did when I heard them at 24 (minus the aching back and knees)!

That is the cardinal sin statement. Your only redemption is to post five of your favorite 7D songs to every social media account you have. They aren't underated... The people familiar with them rate them @ 12 on scale of 10 as they should be.

Every generation has their Rush, Beatles, Metallica, Genesis, and combo of in between. Point that behind these eras and genres, there were a lot of good IN BETWEENS. I love 7Dust, 5 names? Enemy, Trust, Burned Out, Licking Cream, Bender. AMEN.

LAJON is the most down to earth dedicated singers out there. He loves what he does and it shows. They play out of love so that you can share it.
Amazing song. That opening riff is heavy as hell, and then the song only gets better from there. The interplay between the lead and backing vocals is incredibly well done.
Im glad the Crow (morgan) screams a lot in this album so far

Sevendust has that Old Man Strength. Still love Lajon's voice, one of the most underrated vocalists in metal and rock.
He isn't underrated at all if you know metal. That's an uneducated take bud.
Vocals/harmonies from both guitarists are great too on the pre-chorus and the ‘I can be anything’ part (based on what I’ve seen live).
Always gives me chills listening to Lajon's voice! Sevendust is without a doubt one of the best hard rock bands out there today and still going strong. Sevendust fan for life🔥

@@wallofrock6725 In some instances, yes. They've obviously evolved their sound over the years and I'd say the longer they go the better they get, but that's not to say they should forget their roots. Regardless evolution is key to a band's longevity for the most part

LJ and Clint's harmonizing is only getting better. I love how Morgan's screams are mixed to be more ethereal on this track too, like being yelled at by your inner voice. 7D HAS ARRIVED!
I love how Morgan's face pops up for .5 seconds in every video with him snarling and yelling, like the demon in the exorcist movies.

Been listening to Sevendust since they hit the radio waves. I used to get pumped up for work listening before I hit the hospital, I was a nurse. 😊 These guys have matured beautifully! Still good looking, Lejon being my personal favorite. They haven't lost their magic! I've always admired ppl that can play an instrument, blend different instruments, play in unison, use their voice in such a way that it inspires, gives ppl chills, makes ppl cry & smile. Meanwhile, I'm lucky I can play a radio. Sevendust has a level of talent that has stood the test of time! I'm 62 & plan on still rockin Sevendust when I'm 72 & possibly even 82! Love these guys & may God bless them for the rest of their lives. ❤
