- Short on time but still want delicious BBQ? This is how it's done! In this video, I show you how to cook up some awesome barbeque in under an hour. It's hot, it's fast and it's fun! What a great way to end a work day.
I’ve watched a lot of outdoor cooking channels on TH-cam with people who have equipment I can’t afford. I really like your style cooking with inexpensive equipment and making it good backyard style.
I had the pleasure of eating at Tony's house last night. Listen to this man he knows what he is doing, AWESOME! Wife bakes a killer chocolate cake. My only complaint is I had to bring my own alcohol.
But you brought such good stuff! Thanks Jack! There's nothing better than sharing good food and good drink with family and good friends.
BYOB
Well I can say from being in the south, if we are BBQ then it’s beer, if we are sipping on whiskey then no BBQ because that’s a sitting drink not an up and down to the grille! But then again it’s a preference to the person at the end of course! Bud I got say, you have an amazing setup and a beautiful spacious yard. You got a great persona vibration about you bud so you got my subscribe, well done my friend on the hot and fast meal.
I like your style my friend! Thanks for watching and thank you for your kind words!
Really enjoying your videos! I got the latest version of your smoker for Christmas this year. I used this method to cook some Hawaiian BBQ chicken yesterday. Turned out way better than the propane grill!
I really appreciate your style helping us new comers to smoking. I am excited to use what I've learned from your videos for my first smoke on this grill.
Hey Mark! Congratulations on your new Offset! I'm sure smoking, barbequing and grilling off all types will become your new obsession. There's just so much you can do and there's nothing like cooking with real fire. Thanks for your comment and have a Happy New Year!
The best ribs that I ever cooked were done in 30 minutes. The coals was smoking hot. Everybody complimented me on them. I did like you. Turn them about every minute. They were amazing. Just too much work and HEAT!!! Put on my welding gloves. Lol. Great video.
On hot days it's tough to deal with the high heat, but worth it! Hot and fast can be a lot of fun. I appreciate your comment thanks for watching!
Sometimes i like hot and fast, just get that food made. Great video, thanks for sharing.
I'm glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching!
Always a pleasure to view your videos. Informative & entertaining 😊
Thank you! I appreciate that!
Love how cool you are and I've actually learned definitely put me in a good mood ☺️
Lol! Thanks a bunch! Have fun my friend!
Great job !! Enjoy your videos when I’m bbqing
Awesome! Thank you Steve! Thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment.
Top video mate food looks absolutely amazing. To the first question my answer is both beverages, whiskey to start with, fat cigar in hand then beer got have the best of both worlds🍻
The char grilled chimney starter is awesome. I have 3 of the ones in your video. The bottom release of the coals is awesome, especially for loading up the smoker box.
Yes, very handy tool. Thanks!
I’ve got a Weber chimney that I like really well. I light it with tumbleweeds.
Thanks Tony I’ve got that same grill and because of your video I am ready to grill some meat for less than 2 hours cooking time 😊.
My pleasure Vance! Grilling is one of my favorite things to do after a long day at work. Nothing like creating a fire and grilling up some good grab while throwing down some cold beers after a hard day. Have fun thanks for watching!
Watched for 2 hours now and learning
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you find my videos educational!
I am trying this method with the chicken drum sticks today, done the beef and pork ribs low n slow, but the chicken is getting done this way this afternoon, char griller smoking champ is getting a work out today ❤
My favorite sweet baby rays ,delicous sir ,old school bbq.the best with a cold one ,i got a Oklahoma joe ,i cook my meat just like yours . Fast and quick
Freedom!!! One of my favorite things is lighting the fire and cracking open a cold one at the end of a good day of work. So satisfying. Thanks for watching my friend and I appreciate your comment!
I subscribed.
Just took delivery of the Oklahoma Joes gravity fed charcoal grill/smoker.
I guess we are linked now.
Be well.
JT
Awesome JT! Congrats on that new Gravity Fed! OKJ makes some good stuff. Keep me posted on how it works for you. Thanks for the Sub!
I found a local guy that sells pecan splits and chunks...man I was excited. Apparently here in NC we have all kinds of woods.
You're lucky! I have trouble finding pecan in my area. It's great to have such good resources. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment!
Tried the veg mix in this video and it is awsome.
The second time i did the veg mix i swapped out the Brussel sprouts for egg plant and wow top notch
Egg plant sounds good! I'll have to remember that next time i go grocery shopping. Thanks!
Most Important BBQ Question of all Time: YES!
That's right! Lol! Thanks for watching 😎
Protein shake, orange juice. Water. 😂 Great videos!
That sounds like a nice healthy combination. Very nice! Thanks you!
Very entertaining
Thanks Michael!
Well Done!
Thanks Adrian!
I could smell them cooking up here in New England
Love it! Thank you!
36:22. That moment you realize how good your food looks and you're about to eat it 🤤.
Hahaha! Yes! The hardest part of making these videos is at the end when all I want to do is eat what I cooked. I had to go back and watch the end of that video and now I'm starving, but it's only 9:00 a.m. and I'm at the beginning of my work day. Darn! Thanks for making me hungry! Lol! Seriously though, thanks for your comments and I appreciate you watching!
@@TonyToneBBQ no prob buddy. Keep up the good work. And thanks for showing people you can make ribs hot and fast when you need to and they will still be great.
@@tbullock79 will do and my pleasure!
No sir tough pull
Can't get fall off the bone tender in such a fast cook, but still darn good eating. More tender is simple, just lower temp for more time. Thanks for your comment!
Both
Yes! Lol! Thanks for watching!
Nice crispy chicken ,yummy good
Thanks again!
It’s very obvisous sir you love too cook and it shows with your amazing videos bbq is good anytime of year even on a cold rainy day in winter or a very hot summer day. Happy new year 🎆.
I have a subscriber too your videos
@@fracman55 thank you so much! Happy New Year to you too!
@@fracman55 thank you!
My man!
Right on my friend! Thanks for watching!
Do the ribs come out roughly or still have that beautiful bend?
Hey Brandon! Thanks for the question! Yeah, this process doesn't yield the same super tender ribs that a slow and low cook would render, but they sure turn out super delicious. Check out the new video I did on grilling ribs if you get a chance. Even though they're not as tender, they're so freaking good. Thanks for watching!
Great job. I prefer Voodoo and Hazy Hero IPA
I gotta try that Hazy Hero! Thanks for the tip!
Bourbeer can't go wrong
Lol! I agree. Thanks!
I have a chargriller with no offset . Could you show how to do a slow and low for smoking
Thanks for watching and thanks for that request! Yeah, keep an eye on my channel. You might check out some of my other videos that might apply. It is possible to do slow and low without a firebox. Really, the easiest way would be to just build a pile of charcoal or lump cool far to one side and keep your meat far to the other side. It's a little more tricky when using wood though because the only way to add wood is to open the lid. Charcoal on the other hand can burn for two or three hours or more before you need to add. But yeah, I'll see what I can come up with. Thanks again and smoke on!
@@TonyToneBBQ cool thanks. I've tried the minion method. But seems to run a little to high
@@ratattack1571 yeah, the key to the minion method is airflow control. You really need to be able to choke off the air or the charcoal will light up and burn faster than you want it to. Personally, I'm not a fan of allowing large amounts of cold charcoal to light up during the cook. Charcoal gives off an unpleasant odor when starting, which transfers to the food, and you can't avoid this with the minion. Also, wood chucks on top tend to ignite right away and you will get temp spikes.
I got them same big tongs & use em the same way. Great minds think alike……🧐
That's right my friend!
Beer if you're cooking low and slow, bourbon if hot and fast :)
I like your style 😎👍
Beer ,pour a little on what your grilling extra flavor.
Heck yeah!
Like the bourbon and voodoo ranger
Thanks Warren! I think I'm gonna pour me a bourbon right now. Thanks for watching!
My fire never stays like yours, not sure what im doing wrong. My coals are hot and my vents are open?
Hi! Thanks for your comment! How long are your coals staying hot? I find that a chimney full will stay hot for about 1 hour, but it depends on airflow and quality of the product. Have you tried a different brand?
@@TonyToneBBQwhat brand of charcoal do you use?
@@thelogic5770 I usually burn Kingsford charcoal, my preference is Kingsford Professional. I also use Jealous Devil Lump Coal very often.
Do you have a video on smoking a Turkey?
I do. It's a couple of years old and I really need to make a new video, but it's okay. The video part of making videos has been quite a learning experience. Adding a new turkey video to my to do list but here's this one for now. Thank you! th-cam.com/video/cZQAdRipOoE/w-d-xo.html
To answer your question at the very beginning of the video: Yes lol
Did you ever try AA
Haha! Nope. How about you?
Ok he’s done😂😂
LOL! Thanks for watching!
Micelob ultra
👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you!
Bourbon or, maybe a nice red when its cold
I like your style 😎
I told the bar keep 1 bourbon, 1 scotch and 1 beer 😊😊😊
Hell ya my friend! LOL! That's how you do it!
Get you some B&B charcoal etc…..
I'll get me some. Thanks for the tip!
Corona for me
Corona! One of my favorites. Thanks for sharing Kenneth!
This video made me subscribe you drink both
Hey, thank you! There's nothing like firing it up with a couple good drinks at the end of the day. I appreciate you!
I can tell by the sound of the rib meat being ripped from your bite (38:43) that it was not all that tender. how can u even compare this to actual smoked food? Chicken looked good though
You're totally right! Definately not as tender as 6-hour cook but tender enough to be SUPER enjoyable at the end of a long day of work in just one hour of cooking, which was the point of this video. If you don't have time to smoke a rack for hours and you're in the mood for some delicious BBQ, this'll do. LOL! But yeah, you're right... no comparison to a long cook. I could have been a bit more clear on making the point. See what happens when you start a video by downing a whole IPA and a double shot of Burbon! LOL!!! Thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment!
whisky
Awe, yeah! One of my favorites! Thanks for sharing!
Omg, it was torture to see what was done to those ribs!
Interesting, Jack. What would you have done differently?
Please don't take the Lords name in vein and such a bounty of food, you should thank the Lord for providing it for you. Just saying, love the video, and learned a lot, good stuff, keep it up . Just thanking the Lord means a lot to many. Thank you once again.
Thank you Don! I appreciate the advice and I agree with you. God bless you and thank you for the reminder.
🎯🎯🎯
Man Tony, that looks delicious. Not everyone can do a hot and fast cook. Like you said, it will come with experience if you do it enough. I'm a grill master myself. I grill it up every week.
Let’s keep religion out of cooking !!!!
Don’t force your beliefs on others
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for watching!
I understand about the alcohol Homie drinks that cheap stuff !
Thanks for watching!
Sorry Homie that was not called for . Everyone to their own . B Safe !!
@@Texas470 it's all good brother! We're all just having fun anyway. My glass usually has Woodford Reserve in it. Not the most expensive but damn good IMO. I appreciate you my friend!
Watched for 2 hours and love the videos but you shouldn't say God damn love you erase this comment
Thank you my friend and yes, you're right. I shouldn't say that and the wife gets mad a me when I do. I get a little excited and get carried away. I'm working on it. Thank you and I appreciate you!
you lost me at well done pork. The FDA has even rolled back the food safe temp for pork to 145 minimum temp. Pull at 135 , let it rest and rise in temp and enjoy moist pork...... or enjoy your sawdust meat
Haha! That great my friend! Well, if you would like to learn how to cook pork so that's it's well done AND tender AND moist, make sure and check out more of my videos. Thanks for watching!
Make sure the lady gets the first bite
