So I definitely should have seen this before my 1st track day. I will be reaching out to Jaeger bros for a replacement & will be modding it as shown!

Lost quite a few before figuring out this needed mod. Haven’t lost a single one post-mod.

I too also had an issue with the Jaeger Bros flaps, my driver side became loose while driving and I pulled over and half of it was grinded down and it was like what you said, the bottom lip doesn't grab the rocker.

Have them send you another for free and then do my mod. I haven’t had an issue since modding.

Yeah I use the rock blockers. Think I'll stick with em. Thanks Tim!

Great content! Got the rock blockers on my GT350 and GT500, since they are just my daily drivers the work great. 👍👍

In your opinion do you think that they would work fine on a car that wasn't put on the track and drove normally on the road? I don't plan to run my car on the track at high speeds.

      I recommend my mod regardless.

I’m hoping one day to own a 2007-2014 GT500. Your videos keep me motivated to get one.

Good stuff, Tim. 👍 I run both and have experienced the same thing with the Jaeger flaps. I need to call Jaeger and get a replacement and do the mod. 🤟

Good Stuff Tim....What do you do about tread hardening during storage??? I have asked a lot of folks and got a myriad of advice.... oB

From what I recall, regular tires have a 10 year normal lifespan and performance tires are 5 years. I have original tires that are decades old. I just take it easy on those cars.

@@ShelbyFlyer discount tire denied mounting some really nice rubber for they were out of time, told me 7 yrs.
My racing buddy uses kerosene to keep the tread and sidewalls pliable. He carries 3-5 xtras to race on, hit a piece of FOD or knock one off the bead. Kevin
