The TCG community in our city really died like 10 years ago, not even a single fake card is present, not a single store selling tcg cards anymore, but here I am, just got my 1st yugioh sacred beast deck through only ne shop because of this guy. Watching you getting hyped for the past few weeks made me want to start a yugioh card collection, and I'm happy about it, thanks man.

wtf Ebay is a place for getting scammed and mostly all Sellers are weighting packs so you won't get anything... i highly recommend Cardmarket and buying single ones or if u love the feeling of opening things buying Sealed stuff. Also ebay etc. is kinda more expensive...🙌
I live in PA and my local comic store sells MTG and Pokémon but not Yu-Gi-Oh because it doesn't sell very good where I live, Yu-Gi-Oh is huge in the west coast though and both MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh are still pretty popular in the south

Awesome collection! I fairly recently got back into YuGiOh and have been buying and increasing my collection of cards and accessories... Wish some day I have at least half as awesome as this collection. Kudos to the guy who collected all that and kept it very organized.

the fact that when i was a kid and i remember going to kings games in Brooklyn and buying 1st edition lob packs for 4 bucks and the starter decks for about 11 or 12 bucks so crazy and now they are wroth so much jesus man lol. i love your videos you got me back into collecting again. your the man

"Exclusive Pack" was a 9 card set made to tie in with the release of Pyramid of Light (the 2004 movie with Blue Eyes Shining) that gave us Return From the Different Dimension for the first time.

This collection is insane it reminds me of my original collection I started back then. I had literally everything up to the start of gx but unfortunately my stepfather threw it all away cause I quote "Needed to grow up" I was so mad. But this was really awesome to see and my collection is thriving once again

Looking at these old cards hit the nostalgia hard, I live in Europe and in the city I live in the only people that are still collecting are probably only me and two of my brother's classmates that I know of, we used to have unofficial tournaments like every few weeks or so I remember so many people coming to these tournaments if not actually dueling then just spectating duels, trading cards, chatting, good old days man...me and my brother got into yugioh because of the show and one of his classmates, we actually hand drew our very first cards on a paper and played with them because we didn't have money to buy actual cards lol, we did eventually started saving up and I remember that we said that we were gonna do our very best to collect as many of them as possible, I think one of our very first packs was LOB, funny story I only bought LOB packs because I thought there was a blue-eyes white dragon in the original art in there not knowing it was in the alternate art, of course I didn't pull him but I got Gaia, Tri-horned and Exodia head from those packs, we did buy quite a few products over the years but I could go for ages with this long paragraph, unfortunately since my brother is gonna be a dad soon he basically said he won't have time on Yugioh which sucks but I still continue to collect them as best as I can since it's our childhood, man Yugioh as a TCG is something else and I am so glad that people still play and collect these cards

My sister and I still have yu gi oh cards that we collected back in the year 2000 found them a year ago and placed them in binders. I am 29 now and still like to collect them as a nostalgia thing lol♡

We just need Cimo, Gage, Dzeef, and Farfa to start making this type of content now.
Unbelievable collection can’t believe there are still 1st edition starter decks I was 9 when those came out and remember begging my parents to buy them for me! Haha
This is the standard for what I want my collection to be one day. So epic!
I call that Godly collection with those OG Starter Decks Yugi and Kaiba. Seeing those decks just took me back 2 when I started playing & I'll forget that day; Back when I was about 12 / 13 years old living with my mom in the trailer park behind the Peru Jr. High School my babysitter Jay Means at the time came home with three Yugioh decks two Kaiba and 1 Yugi 4 him, me, and my sister Jessie and I played it all the way 2 high school and slowed down 4 me after, but I didn't lose interest 4 Yugioh is a forever part of my life.
Gx is probably my favorite set and series. But nothing can beat the smell of 1st edition cards from the first sets ever.
The LOB 1st Ed common bulk is honestly the most impressive to me LOL. Like you said, about $100 per common in PSA 10

Dude those packs from the master collection folders were my fuckin early teen years man. I about cried, lmao. been on and off yugioh since metal raiders, back when spell ruler and spell cards were magic ruler and magic cards. Damn dude... what a fucking blast from the past.
I love old collections like this. Their money value might be low. But the nostalgic value is priceless.

Nordics and Six-Samurais are my favourite decks of all time. There’s some really nice cards there.

My collection starts around ioc first edition and ends around cybernetic revolution first edition with a several cards before and a few cards after. It's probably half this size and just as mint.

This looks a lot like my collection. I collected a lot of cards in the 1st 10 years and never got rid of any of them.
The funny thing is that the LOB collection did not have a Celtic Guardian in it which Sam just happened to pull from his one pack from StricklySealed.
That is such a dream collection I love the classics that is such a lucky and amazing find my heart dropped when u went through those like mind blowing still run kaiba yugi and cyber dragons all the time

The blue eyes white dragon shounen jump edition is worth something.

EN002 goes for as low as 40 USD, 72.85 USD at market price but is listed at 99.10 USD currently (TCG player)
EN068 (which is the one i think you got) goes for as low as 33 USD, 52.76 USD at market price but listed at 58.75 USD currently (TCG player)

Its breaks my heart...I had MULTIPLES of every card from the first 3-4 sets of yugioh when they first released.
If you complete that LOB 1st edition set you'll be crowned a king of Yu-Gi-Oh.

Open the decks and grade the cards. Honestly the 1st Ed blue eyes is so valuable it’s dangerous to keep it in the box another day. Who knows how it will age in the box as the years go by? Better safe than sorry.. pray for 10’s. Grade everything you got that is well centered with no dents or light scratching on the backs. Sleeve up and organize all the other commons. Also.. take the cards out of the binders with rings so they don’t get binder dents from being opened and closed. Overall a truly solid pick up. Congrats!

Speaking of lavals. They actualy are a really powerful deck in the 2020 format if you enjoy glass cannon decks. They can easily get 3 quasars first turn with a 8k+ grand maju
