You’re right. You know what I think they’re doing? They’re giving people access to all of the toon cards in multiple sets, while withholding the one card they know they need to reprint for toons to really come back into the game. Of course, I’m talking about Toon Kingdom. If I know Konami, I’d wager they’re going to use a Toon Kingdom reprint, in an upcoming set, to maybe sell the set off of its back. They know everyone wants it, and they know what they’re doing. It’s no mistake that Toon Chaos and Legendary Duelist S1 came out without it. At the end of the day, I can respect the hustle on their part though.

As someone who collects for nostalgia, this is the type of set I love. I only had like 4 Toon cards back in the day so this set having so many of the monsters easily available is great. And the character cards are fantastic too. I'll have to try get my hands on the OG series characters at least.

Haven't played in at least 10 years. I stopped playing before synchro summoning was a thing. Tiktok got me back into it and it's overwhelming trying to see what I have missed out on. This was cool to see as I recognized a lot of those cards.

Matching color ultra rares of spells and fusion are likely to be pricier than the ones that clash or clash by default. As for the blue, the anime did feature blue text name cards(D-HERO) so effect monsters in general since there are no holo ritual monsters. Also, red text names seem to remain as Ocg exclusive.
The color thing reminds me of the upperdeck marvel sets and the full art remind me of magic. Super curious about if and when toon kingdom might reappear. Might start saving some money
I want to get at least one of every Cyberdark cards, would love 3 of all of them, I have a Zane themed Cyber Dragon deck so way I see it CyberDark is just the next set on my list

I got the joey wheeler foil card and the cool thing is I also got the red eyes slash dragon 😀😀 my favorite card and character in one pack it was worth is by any means.

Totally sweet how the colors were changed on the title of the cards. I think we can all agree on that. 'Yo, Unlucky those charecter cards are going to be gold mine one day I bet.

I was really excited about this because I thought more of the toons were ultra rare or secret rare but I'm not really gonna pick this case up, I'll probably pick single packs here and there. I was super nostalgic for thr blue eyes toon dragon and don't really want more commons for it.

Technically, Pegasus WAS in GX a few times. It's where we got Toon Kingdom, Comic Hand, and Toon Ancient Gear Golem.
