I’ve just bought a Pard but I would still like to see the review. You will never please everyone but I trust you enough to know that if a scope is crap you would say, regardless how good their coffee is
So you reviewed the vector scopes last week because they’re as good as other more expensive brands. Then people complain because you’re trying to save them money and you refrain from reviewing another product because you think the moaners matter? It’s your channel, review what you think is most relevant. Everything you’ve done so far has been very informative and useful.
So glad to see and hear a man who knows what he's talking about. Andy gets his message across in plain English backed up by insuperable logic and common sense. I try to follow his precept and buy British, but I do like my .22 Walther RM8. I also have a Hatsan 900x Springer that makes me smile every time I use it. It's that 'clangy' and 'twangy' It's the nearest a .22 will ever get to a Blunderbus!
I think you need to do the night scope, forget Trolls, they just live under bridges because they are too lazy to build a house!! Nice reveiw, I'm still enjoying my pp750, with a Hawk scope.
This was my first introduction to airguns, and i must say i love it! Pretty damn accurate with the red dot sight but i never got the laser zeroed in right so i replaced it with the torch under the slide, just for the fun-factor.
I own a Gamo PT85(gun) but unfortunately it doesn't have all the accessories that your talking about here. Honestly I've tried a couple of times purchasing this particular package but I can't find it anywhere here in the United States. If I ever come across it, I'm gonna buy it without hesitation. Thanks again Andy for another entertaining and informative review. Who cares what people say...there's ALWAYS gonna be those 1 or 2 haters who gotta be negative, but dont let it bother you. I have followed your advice on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed in my decision to do so. There are way too many choices for us out there and to have someone do the heavy lifting, and then to impart the benefit of that knowledge is really appreciated. I will shortly be in the market for some night vision kit so would love to hear your views on whatever night vision is available at the less expensive end of the spectrum. Thank you!

I bought this pistol about 2 years ago and it will not disappoint it is totally worth the money and as for the review its bang on this is a great little pistol and really accurate perfect for smashing tins in the garden. I got mine from pownalls in great yarmouth a great shop with plenty to offer and very helpful and friendly staff.
Another enjoyable, funny and educational review Andy. The one thing about trolls is, you never see them place reviews, just their opinions of someone else’s reviews. So easy to be a critic, so difficult to actually make something.

Great video, must say I want one and yes will buy one from VA, Why ? because I purchased a Veyron on your recommendation from VA. Scope is good, price was good, delivery and service was excellent. Great little test on a great little pistol package .. ive had one for almost three years and just love it (barking mad but fun). However the night vision look interesting to so go for it. Great show as allways Andy
Had one since first lockdown. Great fun. I've removed the wobbly tactical mount and just have the laser mounted on the small rail below the barrel. Makes it a lot lighter but takes away some of the over the top look. Laser takes a bit of patience to zero but it works just fine for me. Ignore the silly billies and keep the reviews coming.

You have already saved me £500 after watching your review of the .22 sig sauer semi automatic and its lack of accuracy!! I also checked out other people's reviews which all said something very similar to what you said initially!! I settled on the Gamo GX40 which as you promised was insanely accurate and a very fair price, I strangely didn't buy it from Vector Air???? Instead I purchased it Locally in Tamworth from Solware. I am though one of them to be happy to see Andy going with the airpistol this time.. I just love co2 airpistols. Got many of them - even though not the PT-85 since it not directly being a replica of a specific pistol model. Got though two CZ P-09s with the same magazine system. One of my favorite blowback pellet pistols for sure.. Love that this version do have a long inner barrel. That gives me a reason to even get myself one of these - possibly, someday. Good fps and good accuracy - all there. Never been a big fan of excessive toys on my pistols, but I do own a Walther Nighthawk. The Nighthawk's Centerpoint red dot looks externally very much like this red/green/blue dot sight - so might be by the same manufacturer..

I picked up a PT-85 Tactical from an Airgunshop In Leicestershire not so long ago. I've played with various configurations, because you can, and ended up with a lower profile rail, and smaller red dot, to make it more pointable. The other toys are still in the box, but may well get deployed elsewhere. It does hit nice and hard, and using soft AA Diabolo Field in my indoor 6M range, into a pellet trap, those rounds are pretty well pancaked, no chance of a ricochet. It is pretty accurate, the middle of the target gets nicely punched out easily, and once lockdown is over, I can hopefully do some reaction time shooting down at the range. I added a loop of paracord around the grip held down using some bicycle inner tube, and bought a single point sling, and added a stubby foregrip. so it can be used machine pistol style also. I bought two extra mags as well. More mags = more fun.
@@LiamHann-f7z Nope. It's a dummy silencer, there's extra barrel in there, but no baffles or expansion chamber, it's all barrel. So you get a few more FPS and better accuracy, but no lessening of bark.
I'm not bothered about the vector air link. Great review as always and good job in brining new product to everyone's attention. I cant afford the night vision cameras and have no need for one but I'll watch it because it's air gun related and I like the reviews

Yup same here, ironically I've cobbled together a DIY night vision system of sorts using an old dashcam and IR torch on this very pistol and it's effective up to 15 metres, the pistol I managed to get for the ridiculous price of £125 brand new from Warrington guns and it's probably been more fun during lockdown than any of my "serious" guns especially during the bad weather, but I would love to see a review of the cheap nightscopes looking to put one on my Coyote
I purchased an RTI priest 2 on the back of you recent review. These videos are priceless in the respect that you take the time to give a balanced review. I used to own the PT-85 Tactical. I bought it on the 2nd hand market, but it was NIB w/ all the case candy. Fun pistol, but outgrew it quickly. Only so much you can do with a pellet gun that feels like a BB gun.
First off I would love to see a review of the NV gear (back snowflake...back) Wow. What a cracking bit of kit. That is well over £200 worth. 3flb is a very respectable output for any air pistol. I think they going to sell out very quickly. Great review as usual Andy, thanks you
Review everything that Vector Air sell, who cares what anyone thinks - because they're a bloody good shop. Had my Glock 17 Gen 4 delivered recently from them. Great communication and I'll definitely be back for more. I've emailed multiple airgun retails since March 2020 - and 75% of them haven't replied so balls to them 🤷

Night Vision!! Budget Scope Cams?? That would be wonderful. Also, when and/or what is the point of switch from high quality springer/gas piston over to PCP? Mainly, I prefer long range target shooting. Accuracy, consistency, etc. One pellet on top of the other, not too worried about stopping or knockdown power. Thank you! Love what you do. PLUR

i would love to hear more about the scopes because i am on a budget.
I picked up a PT-85 Tactical from an Airgunshop In Leicestershire not so long ago. I've played with various configurations, because you can, and ended up with a lower profile rail, and smaller red dot, to make it more pointable. The other toys are still in the box, but may well get deployed elsewhere. It does hit nice and hard, and using soft AA Diabolo Field in my indoor 6M range, into a pellet trap, those rounds are pretty well pancaked, no chance of a ricochet. It is pretty accurate, the middle of the target gets nicely punched out easily, and once lockdown is over, I can hopefully do some reaction time shooting down at the range. I added a loop of paracord around the grip held down using some bicycle inner tube, and bought a single point sling, and added a stubby foregrip. so it can be used machine pistol style also. I bought two extra mags as well. More mags = more fun.

@@LiamHann-f7z Nope. It's a dummy silencer, there's extra barrel in there, but no baffles or expansion chamber, it's all barrel. So you get a few more FPS and better accuracy, but no lessening of bark.
I'm not bothered about the vector air link. Great review as always and good job in brining new product to everyone's attention. I cant afford the night vision cameras and have no need for one but I'll watch it because it's air gun related and I like the reviews

Yup same here, ironically I've cobbled together a DIY night vision system of sorts using an old dashcam and IR torch on this very pistol and it's effective up to 15 metres, the pistol I managed to get for the ridiculous price of £125 brand new from Warrington guns and it's probably been more fun during lockdown than any of my "serious" guns especially during the bad weather, but I would love to see a review of the cheap nightscopes looking to put one on my Coyote

I used to own the PT-85 Tactical. I bought it on the 2nd hand market, but it was NIB w/ all the case candy. Fun pistol, but outgrew it quickly. Only so much you can do with a pellet gun that feels like a BB gun.
Definitely on the night vision, that would be really helpful, tomorrow if that's OK.
First off I would love to see a review of the NV gear (back snowflake...back) Wow. What a cracking bit of kit. That is well over £200 worth. 3flb is a very respectable output for any air pistol. I think they going to sell out very quickly. Great review as usual Andy, thanks you

Review everything that Vector Air sell, who cares what anyone thinks - because they're a bloody good shop. Had my Glock 17 Gen 4 delivered recently from them. Great communication and I'll definitely be back for more. I've emailed multiple airgun retails since March 2020 - and 75% of them haven't replied so balls to them 🤷
I own one I have put a front grip on mine looks real cool. And Andy great come back please for the ones who love. Night sites 😆 🤣 😂

Night Vision!! Budget Scope Cams?? That would be wonderful.
Also, when and/or what is the point of switch from high quality springer/gas piston over to PCP? Mainly, I prefer long range target shooting. Accuracy, consistency, etc. One pellet on top of the other, not too worried about stopping or knockdown power. Thank you! Love what you do.

Again, another breath of fresh air on a lock-down morning. While I have no personal use for night vision (yet), I would be interested to see the review. You never know, my day vision is not brilliant, so perhaps night vision would be an option! Off to VA or diapers now to check out the Gamo PT85. Oooops my bad, that was a typo - of course, diapers are pants.
