"The Birds have been Singing to me" Oil Painting Process | My First Diptych

hiiiiiii! This painting is called "the birds have been singing to me" it's an oil painting on panel measuring 26.5x37.5 including the frame. This was my first diptych and I'm so happy with how it turned out. The original reference for this painting was a photo I had taken a few years ago of a seagull. I really liked the composition of the photo but wanted to add something a little more colorful and fun to it. This painting will also be included in Moon Rise Gallery's "moon" themed showing running from June 6th-July 27th! I hope you enjoy this video! This was so cool to watch! I loved seeing you use the end of the brush to outline and also the swirls in the sky were a beautiful touch. These are fun full of life.
