It was a pleasure to meet you Peter ! The blade is a 26 mm insert type blade - Hare and Forbes code L0122 ( 26x2 mm )around $40 iirc or any 26 mm wide insert type blade will do . You can also use a HSS blade holder in there but you will have to pack it up to get the blade on centre height . One trick with parting of is use plenty of cutting fluid - i use WD40 on everything coz it works and it’s cheap ,i use a spray can with the red tube nozzle and a short squirt every few seconds right into the slot is all that is needed and as always keep your tool stick out to the barest minimum you can get away with ! You can also get some really good HSS parting blades from Eccentric Engineering- i use the T shape blade and love it !

@@pgs8597 Yes I found the cheapest deal I could and I could have bought 10 good small taps for the same price. Wife and I are fully vaccinated (I think you guys call that "getting the jab"). But still careful, wife's brother just got it and is recovering.
