    Also, speaking of brain melting. I feel you on that one, I have three phases planned for my bunker base. I have phase one nearly complete with the front gate, main tunnel, loading dock, and warehouse. With that, I have already used between 50,000 to 100,000 concrete and all the other applicable materials.

      @usarmysniper682006 that sounds massive lol. I've set up Facebook page now if you want to share a screenshot. I've not put anything on it yet but you can find the link on my youtube page:)

    Add a motion sensor right in front of the LOWER dart traps, ditch the pressure plates and replace them with that SHEET block (Reinforces floor), now the TRIGGER for the dart traps is protected and it only fires when something is right in front of them (View limited by the tunnel block). PRO TIP: paint the floor an off color before placing down the protective sheets so that you can know if any of the sheets have been destroyed)

      That's great call about the position for the motion sensor, assuming the dart trap doesn't hit it on the way past! I will test and confirm. Also a great idea about painting the block underneath the sheet a different colout, but I probably won't bother placing them instead of the trigger plates as their HP is so low anyway.

    for the pillar and a TOP mounted sensor the cube 1/2 pillar 0.5m fits (1/2 cube on top of pillar)

    I can vaguely remember that, in an earlier alpha there was a cctv mod, using a camera and a tv screen to watch over areas that maybe needed watching over.

    In my opinion with using the cameras to turn on the traps, you shouldn't be so focused on which cameras turn on which traps as much as if there are zombies present it turns on the traps so you don't have to fiddle with the switches. Also, I don't think setting the dart traps to cameras is a great idea because the field of view is too wide, and then as I wrote that you mentioned it in the video.

      I'm kinda glad I got the zones set up for the pairs of blade traps, but yeah, definitely leaving the dart traps on trigger plates!

    I'm now on day 236 and the lag is unplayable on Xbox S! 😢 So bad you can't fire your gun or access the turrets to reload them 😔 I do have a tip tho, if you struggle for brass grow super corn and sell it in the sale vending machine in the traders compound. 1 stack of 125 will net you 25000 dukes which you can then smelt 😉👍🏻 I have 10 smg turrets and really struggled for brass for casings but this helped me tuns 🥰

  • @ogre4204
    @ogre4204 6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Well I gave ya a good idea before, how about a stupid one... get rid of the OUTER stairs on each side and replace them with that tunnel block used for the dart traps and place the motion sensors behind (1 or 2 blocks back because the sensors can't be placed in the tunnels) and this will narrow the field of view to right down the trench. you now have the problem of how to activate the corner BLADE traps from 2 sensors at right angles. (have fun with that)

    • @Thinchap
      @Thinchap  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ogre4204 that's genuinely a great idea! I was tempted to add another fence traps down that line but I think the motion sensor is a winner. Awesome. At least for the fence traps anyway. Or maybe the darts lol.

    I would this, 2 cams, one at NE and other at SW... do the power as follows... power to cam1 then cam2, them to a hub, then out to each blade.. with the cams cover each other cross wise, the will both trip no matter... then tie in your shotgun bunker and then its all set

    • @Thinchap
      @Thinchap  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @RobertLee25 ah, why would I make it nice and simple like that, when i can dramatically over-complicate it? 😀 tbh the main problem I could see with that setup is that if any part of it breaks, all the traps go down at once. With my way it's 4 separate systems so theoretically I'd only lose 2 at a time.

      Unfortunately you can't do advanced rotation with Gun Turrets so they can only stand upright, otherwise I definitely would have done that :)
