I've always loved Clara Polito's belcanto!!! Brava!!!

Her voice is frequently flat and out of tune.
Maybe the acoustic of the theater makes her voice sound "hard" but she is certainly up to all of the challenges of this aria. It is not so easy. People say Callas chose the role for her return to Scala because it was not so hard--I don't think so.
ploplisphilin Voice is very rounded but also have metal in the sound. And who can sing dramatic belcanto coloratura like her?
