On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

I love the scramble scenarios, especially when they involve ballistic missiles.
I was in Bagram when the taliban shot the random rocket every now and then. I can't imagine what it's like for a real deal Iranian ballistic missile incoming. It's got to be much scarier.
Imagine your base actually getting cooked like that in front of you while you taxi, and then having to takeoff and fly a mission and not be completely demoralized.
Dude I was just thinking that. I was like “does it matter at this point? The whole base just got smoked as he was rolling out for takeoff”

This is how I used to design my missions in Jane’s Fighters Anthology back in the day 😅 When I retire, I’d like to get into modern day sims. It’s a dream watching how its evolved from the 90s and 2000s..

@@Gringo111R simpler times. Kids seemed to care about aviation more. I remember bringing my Janes all the worlds aircraft books and nerding out with the other aviation geeks in middle school. Laughing at the nato code name for the mig-15.
One kid came in one day and said he had gotten cable internet and actually had a dogfight online. We were flabberghasted lol.
@@dvaritek434 Hahaha, that's outstanding and mirrors my own experiences as a kid. We didn't know just how good we had it then, far more innocent than now. I used to be part of a VF "clan" on FA and loved playing co-op missions. Hopefully I can get back to that some day.

I know its unlikely but imagine the iranians love the f14 so much that they started their own tooling and fabrication for replacement parts. I dont think they are making airframes but maybe they have newer avionics, engines and different missiles attached to the tomcat by now.

I remember growing up in the 90s and thinking these 4th gen fighters were super modern tech. Now they are models in a flight sim that people play with. Feels like watching stuff from ww2.

If the MiG-29s are able to shoot down an F-16 they said, the F-16s are able to do it to any models and series or versions of Su-27 and whole MiG aircraft from the 15 to the 29 itself.

upon returning to base , GS found the base to be miraculously self-repaired within a short timespan of this video.
I know they are enemies, but it's still makes me sad to see an F-14 get shot down.

DCS does such a great job man, that first seen on the runway looked amazing, graphics effects. What a sick simulator, must have taken ages for you to get used do what you are able to do.
