Ren and Romain were roommates for 6 years and the boys were together during the lockdowns. Live Nation broadcasted several sessions of them from home. During the pandemic.
You can see by her face she's smitten. No surprise. He has that knack of drawing you in with the more you see then just being absolutely hooked. Wait till she sees the Tales. I gotta see her react to that!
I'd love to hear an interview of someone who was in that crowd that day. Unless it was the person who walked through the camera frame, not once, but at least 3 times.
So glad Kirsten enjoyed this! This is my favourite busking session from The Big Push. It’s fantastic that you can introduce Ren to your friends ✊ 😊 🏴 ✌️
The Big Push is cleverly choosing songs to blend together. All songs are based on the same 3 cords, as in the other videos in which they mix 2 or 3 songs of different genres!!
Simply....yes yes yes ........good work and joy Melvin........we gotta share, support and 'protect' such artists in this age of vanilla formula.....🎵💯♥️
Just want to say busking doesn't always pull a big crowd unless it's a big place like Covent Garden, buskers lay down a hat or open guitar case and hope to draw in people. One busker (in the garden) plays a musical ball he throws around. I want to give a shout out to my friend Dean, a homeless busker in Brighton (he travels around a lot), Love you man
"He lives and breathes music" I believe is an original quote that I commented way back on your Ren videos and I have trademarked it, legal action pending. It has to be such a one in a million description that I can't think it's anything but mine. But besides lame jokes, that was a killer reaction as always
yea...Frank and his crew live was amazing (saw em in early 77)...just told a friend how I felt a similarity between the two yesterday....but Ren does have a much better vocal range....ha......✌
Hey thanks for sharing your content love your appreciation of such talent as u mentioned even drummer go look at beginning when he hits cymbals with fingers then moment later a tap with one he’s a great percussionist One ☝🏻love ❤Rob
I think Kirsten needs to come back and react to the rest of this whole set which went hyper from here. The other songs were War Pigs (Black Sabbath), Watch Out and Paint It Black. All 3 are there (just look for Ren in the red suspenders)
Ren is the Original "Bardcore Genre Bender" The Master Bard himself ( Shakespeare ) would have understood exactly where Ren was coming from. Ren isn't just a songwriter but rather a Performance Art Master who blends music and character acting from all the styles over the last 500 years and makes it modern and relatable to all generations even if normally you may not be a fan of whatever genre he is currently performing. The Ren Rabbit Hole is Deep and Powerful!
As mentioned you have to do the tale of jenny and screech in full. Then maybe animal flow, dominoes, humble, genesis. Back to the big push doing watch out, war pigs and paint it black from the same session.
You have to see The Big Push doing Bongo Bong its amazing and the group singing together is wonderful, also Prase Fatboy Slim retake and Fboy Right Here Right Now. FBOY lives in the same city and he heard Praise and let him do the RETAKE. They give people 4hrs notice about where and when thegy will be playing. People turn up from the other end of England and the police have to organise 2 oficers ether end of whatever road!!!!
*Tash Sultana* is another brilliant multi instrumentalist (from Australia) with superb live and jam session qualities. The entire concept of this video seems awfully familiar, it has Black Pegasus ,written all over it. I don't see any acknowledgment but I can totally see where this formula came from.
To be fair, I didn't even know who Black Pegasus was until about 3 months ago. The first time I brought guests on my channel to do reactions with me was in February of 2021. I like what he's doing but I'm not copying him. We just happen to have similar interests and similar content. Props to him and his success, he definitely has a larger audience than I do and I'm happy to see other creators grow and prosper. But to suggest that I need to give him some sort of acknowledgment is just silly. I've been putting in the work to grow my channel and my audience for about a decade now and Black Pegasus has nothing to do with any of that. Again, I like his content and fully respect what he's doing and wish him to have continued success but I don't owe any of my hard work or success to him. Therefore there is no need for some sort of formal acknowledgment.
@inamiarts.7fourclub no need to hate my guy. Just keep posting videos and trying new stuff. Hopefully, with enough time and luck(everyone needs luck) you will too come to have people leaving jealous comments in your videos and hopefully by then, you'll have grown enough as a human and not be a negative nancy.
@Melvin Maya. Stop describing the band as consisting of three guitarists and a drummer. It’s two guitarists, a bassist and a drummer. Bass players don’t consider themselves guitarists, they are bassists. Haven’t you ever watched the most popular independent YT musician, Davie504? He is platinum, with over 11 million subscribers. And he’ll tell you he’s definitely not a guitarist. In fact, he’d like to see those pesky guitar players disappear. He’s tried a couple times with YT’s most famous guitarist, TheDooo [6 million subscribers] unsuccessfully. He couldn’t get him with his “Holy Slap”, the most powerful blow by a slap bassist. Lol.

My home city of Brighton, and I'm the crowd somewhere 😊
I've watched this performance so many times and yet it still makes me smile and want more.
Ren: sings first note
girls: 😍
Love that big smile! I think Kirsten's fallen in love!
You can see it on her face. lol

great reaction, but... i think you got the title wrong. a better title would be "watch Kirsten fall in love with a bloke from Brighton" :)
Such an iconic performance. Loving the enthusiasm by Kirsten.
There are a lot of reactors but your enthusiasm is genuine which shows unlike some of the OTT channels, keep up the good work 👍
The 3rd tune is a uk garage classic DJ Luck & MC Neat - A Little Bit Of Luck - I don’t know why it didn’t make the title!

My fav Big Push busking session as well. Kirsten has a Ren crush.

this is like watching a modern day Frank Zappa live performance, if you know you know , new to the channel and subscribed, love the vibes
yea...Frank and his crew live was amazing (saw em in early 77)...just told a friend how I felt a similarity between the two yesterday....but Ren does have a much better vocal range....ha......✌
This was a blast.
I'm here for the ride.
They are all highly talented.
Great reaction! Love The Big Push!

OMG Kirsten is in love. Great reaction to The Big Push.
Liv Sangster & Ren is a gem also!!
Please do 'The Tale of Jenny and Screech':):) All 3 parts in order:)

"Genre Bender" ... citing Black Pegasus? aren't we 🙂😎👍🏻

Great reactions keep them coming!!! Ren is Iconic!!

Listen to Gorran take the lead on "Icarus" & watch the 3 of them having a great time, as usual, while making great music.
Top of the morning to ya
You can literally see her falling in love with Ren.
Think Romain has a new fan
Great reaction. Kirsten deffo likes ren 👀

So cute
The girl in the red dress bothers me who walks across a live performance not once but multiple times, walk around
the girl in the orange that she seems to be with, is a friend of the band, so i dont think they minded.
Oh man don’t get me started! 😊 So annoying.
Ask any band, there is always "that Girl" that has to be part of the show.

Lets all keep it positive. Not really Rens vibe to be negative ninnies is it? If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything.

In quite a few of their numbers Gorran plays acoustic guitar, so yes he is a guitar player as well as a bassist.
@@AlSnoopsReid and other times Ren play the bass, but he is a guitarist too :)
