Sounds legit. Hopefully he had the permission slip. Odnr are making a stink about it.
He said in other interviews he borrowed crossbow. Here on this one he said he bought it. That's inconsistent and shows me he is hiding something.

Yeah the guy didn't have proper tags to harvest another buck, and was fined something around 30k I believe it was.

In this country you are innocent until proven guilty. If he poached this buck AND they prove it and convict him I say throw the book at him. If he did not poach it and these charges turn out to be unfounded then shame on the Ohio DNC. It seems every time a hunter kills a giant buck like this the first thing that happens is people start running their mouth about "poaching" without having any of the facts. Give the guy a break until all the facts are out.

You may be right. Time will tell. If it was poached then you can see from my comment that they should throw the book at him. I just have a problem with the "court of public opinion" convicting ANYONE before the facts are known and there is due process. I hope you never get falsely accused of anything in your life, but if you do, you will see how unfair and harmful it is for people to pass judgement from a stand point of total ignorance. @@REDNECKROOTS

hunting in january ,,, man were not that lucky here in canada ,,,, in NB here we just FINALLY got a muzzloader season this past year for the first time ,,,,,so here usually by nov 24th ,,,, hunting is DONE and sometimes we barely get any snow to hunt with , i only wish to have long seasons like that

My cousin is a game warden and he said he actually killed it on public land with a recurve. The hunting public was doing deer drives and ran the buck right by him.

Borrowed bow, borrowed stand, goes to woods never hunted, night photos, 12-20 miles from where last seen night before, no cell phone entire day? Hmmmm

@wallstreetbets9814 He has said the only photo that was taken before he shot the deer that has surfaced is actually a video that was from October 16th. That was weeks before he shot the deer. The woods had been hunted before, but maybe not by him. I know he said his father killed a good buck on the same property.

@danjanes8689 again this is what HE said. I also heard there were photos the night before......we can't go by what he says we don't know ALL the facts. I have a gut feeling this deer was poached. If they find him not guilty great but many red flags that is why it's being investigated!

Every picture is at night yet he recovered at 1030 am also said on an other podcast that he borrowed that crossbow. Also a trail Camera picture 15 miles 10 hrs prior he's full of crap

Just say he's telling the truth....which he's not....do you not think there would be trail cam photos from his sister's and surrounding properties floating around the internet??? Of course there would be!!! I guess this deer lived underground.... He SHOULD have his license revoked in every state for life.... Let's make an example of these scumbags stealing wildlife from every single ethical law abiding hunter out there.
