IM SEATED🙌🏽 I did a big chop last month (2nd time in 4 years) i learned how to braid and how to really take care of my hair, yours is BEAUTIFULLL literally goals😫✨
Doing a protein treatment every couple of months or weeks, is really good for length retention . I realized my hair started to retain length by using the ApHogee 2 step treatment every 4 weeks, also I love curl code black she put me on to henna.
I STANNNN by aloe vera for detangling, moisturizing, added protein…all of it! The slip it provides is unmatched and there are so many healthy benefits in one product. Highly recommend!! Also, your hair is flourishingggg😍 I love watching your journey🥹
I literally have a desire to grow my hair longer, bc it’s down to my back , but as soon as my hair touches my shoulders , I immediately put it in the bun. I think I’m just confused.
My friend Monica had shaved her head at one point, and thanks to DIYing her own oils with amala, bramhi, bhringraj, etc. her hair has grown to her waist. She also does fenugreek hair masks from time to time.
College was also my best hair days too. This was the "Shampoo is the devil. All hail co-wash" era. She flourished with just shea butter, coconut oil, V05 conditioner and mini twists😂 I think head scarves are a huge help to retaining length. Less styling, just throw on a cute headwrap over my crazy plaits
Quick question: what do you think about beads in your hair??? Like do you think that it breaks off ur hair, and that it’s damaging to ur hair? Or is it okay to put beads in ur hair with braids?
Do you know how to do cornrows/flat twists? If so, PUH-LEASE DO A TUTORIAL‼️‼️ I’ve been trying to learn for about 1 year and a half now (it’s not going well)🥹
Not sure what your goals are but Ive retained alot of length this year so I thought I'd answer as well. Keeping a ponytail in everyday can lead to breakage and result in trimming your new length. If you look up the tailbone length girlies here they tend to rely on mini braids or mini twists without added hair. I recommend you start with a TH-cam named Curl code black for the basics. Good luck!
@@GARSHELL ok lol I know they help tremendously with growth but I think if you can make like a hair schedule/diary to help you with the maintenance part that should help since you are busy. I’m wondering if they is a hair app . But your hair is beautiful, you are doing a great job in my eyes. One side of your hair alone is like my whole head lol I’m going to look 👀

Flat twist is an easier option, since doing mini twist can take a really long time to do.
i love the mini twist look so i just need to take time to actually do it. 😭🧡
Your hair is gorgeous girly & I hope that you reach your length goals. I also love ‘Curl Code Black’. Her hair is gorgeous as well.

doing fingerdetangling With aleo vera gel befor Washing your hair
taking notesssss. 📝🧡
Your length is my desired length. I can't wait to reach it. I have way too much hair. Waist length would be a nightmare for me 😂
Try mini twist but keep them for at least 2 weeks don't do twist out yet in mini twist you can still hydrated them😊❤
willlll do. 🧡
Braid one inch from the roots to prevent matting though
Honestly the longer my hair gets, I went from 3hours minitwists to 8hours. It's time consuming but now my hair are long enough to do medium twists
when you've got protective styles on, what do you recommend to keep your hair growing at the same rate and taking care of it in general?
side note: your glasses are so cute, do you know what brand they are?
@dimeoptics on instagram. 🙈🧡
@@GARSHELL thank you! 🙏🏽

Quick question: what do you think about beads in your hair??? Like do you think that it breaks off ur hair, and that it’s damaging to ur hair? Or is it okay to put beads in ur hair with braids?
i want to try beads in my hair. i think its okay, you just need to make sure to safely remove them. 🧡

i suck at cornrows myself. 😭😭😭🧡
@@GARSHELL I’ve been thinking of getting one of those doll head things to try and practice 😭 HOPEFULLY I IMPORVE
Do you think my hair will grow if i keep them in ponytail with no added hair and not touch it till wash day?

@@adoxgraphy101 is there any other protective styles you recommend?
ponytails can break your edges or nape over time. i would recommend a safer hair style. 🧡
@@GARSHELL ok thank you so much!
