Scammers target victims who will let them connect to their computer in order to gain access to their bank account and other personal information. I waste their time, report THEIR stolen bank accounts, and try to educate YOU about their tactics. My hope is that you will be able to laugh while you learn about what kinds of scams are happening today.

4:13 I love how he's in such complete disbelief he actually cracks and drops character. Kit has faced the most angry, bullheaded scammers constantly trying to scream over him and never faltered but the idea of her googling "What is a computer" just broke him instantly
it’s crazy how you can take a simple thing like a virus and a voice changer to make someone regret coming to work that day and give thousands of people a good time while educating. king kit reigns supreme yet again.

@@ryansheets3951 There was literally screen reading in the video, fam 🤣 A really wide range of mobility software exists - my mom uses voice recognition and eye-tracking software because she's a quadriplegic and is physically incapable of typing.

My 70 y.o. mom couldn't open her email and when I went to check it out, she was sitting at the screen trying to click on the email while dozens of windows of hardcore porn popped up, the most degraded stuff you could imagine , which she completely ignored. When I ran the antivirus, the computer was infected with thousands if viruses. It still freaks me out to think about it.
Yeah, my mom asked me to have a look at her pc that was being extremely slow.
The amount of stuff it was infected with, let’s just say, if it was a person, I would shoot it out of mercy.

My grandmother is the same. Her house is immaculate but her PC is always hells kitchen. I have to sort it out for her every 6 months or so. I've tried to teach her how to avoid things but somehow she still manages bless her.

I liked when you put the scammer on the spot by asking her to tell you one thing she knows about computers. She panicked. These scammers were dropping like flies. I laughed every time the call was handed off to someone else or the scammer hung up.
I just think Kit breaking character over her looking it up was the icing on the cake.

Well for non native English speakers it's hard to give detailed definitions of words you never searched for and just heard them. I'm sure most people can't define simple words we use everyday because we never needed to learn it's definition. That's unfair to assume you're bad at English cuz you aren't the most technical in a foreign language... I'm saying all these words but can't define most of them if you asked me too

What would be better is if either in addition to or instead of chat opening up stuff, feed the A.I. past and present stuff we know scammers have said and see what opens.. That way whatever trouble was "allowed" before (if any was set up) is made worse by their talking- which opens up more stuff which messes with their own scams by them talking at all.
I saw some 80 year olds buying crypto at an ATM and showed them how scammers erase the decimal in one of your videos! Thank you for educating people!
I'm glad places like Target now put any ATM machines and gift cards up next to the checkout area, so they can have cashiers and managers monitor for old people getting scammed. Also, most of the Bitcoin machines have warnings you have to click through that warn you about scams. Kitboga and others like him have created much greater awareness that retail is responding to help prevent these scams.

Probably concerned, since lower barrier of entry means there are countless scammers there, and any efforts to stop them are like a tiny boat in a vast ocean trying to stop a massive wave.

How to identify a scammer:
"I'm going to help you with everything." = Not a scammer
"I am going to help you with with each and every thing." = Scammer

@@Sashazur Was surprised this scammer just hung up after realizing he lost the script and got duped. Usually they rage quit before hanging up the phone.
Would honestly be interesting to see how an actual tech support person would handle this.
They wouldn't do anything over the phone, they'd tell you to bring it in to a technician like Geek Squad who would use tools to backup important files, and reformat the drive.
Reboot in recovery mode, go from there.
They would have a pc tech drive over and do a Clean Install. Takes about an hour.

Kit's ability not only to come up with these wanky ideas, but to know how to code for them, while using several computers, a VM, stream live in several places and improv in multiple voices flawlessly and with absolute hilarity is so far beyond genius it's scary to think of what he could do on the wrong side of things. Add to it when he smiles and laughs, he makes everything ok in my life. Then at the end, he tells me I matter. I absolutely love this man. 💗😃😘

One thing that the scammers don't like is when you cry. I know this because I was called about 4 years ago...I almost fell for the scam until they mentioned getting gift card at Walmart. The calls that I got AFTER that were when I would mess with THEM with all kinds of stuff..not as creative as Kit, but I did have fun with them. One call, I had the scammer profusely apologizing to me. 😂
