Update: I went ahead and replaced the aerator with the one from my old faucet, the new one was just not permitting enough water flow. Also, I had to call the company to send me a new hot water cartridge because the the current one was very stiff and squeaky. After a few weeks of back and forth with the company did send me a replacement cartridge. As it is now, I have not yet replaced the current cartridge as it has stopped squeaking for some odd reason!!
Can I ask how the maintenance is with the polished nickel finish? I'm trying to decide between polished nickel and chrome and we have hard water. Thanks for sharing your experience!
This is a very easy faucet to keep clean. Our old one, which was the exact same model and used for 12 years, was quite clean right up to the very end. Now, with that said, we have a whole house water softener which I am sure makes a difference. However, we have a polished nickel shower fixture of a different brand that I cannot clean the spots off and that is very frustrating. I think the finish on this faucet is very nice. I will never buy a Kingston brand again! They don’t answer the phone at all no matter the department. I bought the replacement cartridge and they don’t mention an adapter needed and changed the set up 2 yrs old and corroded . I’m 61 disabled and can’t breathe well. Had to use old parts after soaking and scraping 3 days later done and in pain. Horrible company
I am sorry to hear of your experience. I have contacted them recently because my hot water cartridge on this faucet has developed a loud squeak and is becoming difficult to turn on and off. This happened on our first faucet as well. I will update with progress! Thanks for watching, JL.
