i have the same issue with this valve, it is the least expensive one and it does that very thing you mentioned at the top,- I had concerns as to the price point and sure enough it gave me trouble, but I like the fact that it is an easy instal-- ty I will try this tomorrow

My new moen attune is different. It looks like a brass plate blocks 75% of the flow. I might try drilling the plate to make the hole bigger.

Sir, you are a lifesaver! The Moen head was so disappointing because even with plenty of water pressure, the shower was just "nothing." All we had to do was pull that and the shower was fantastic. Thank you!!!

Update: I went ahead and replaced the aerator with the one from my old faucet, the new one was just not permitting enough water flow. Also, I had to call the company to send me a new hot water cartridge because the the current one was very stiff and squeaky. After a few weeks of back and forth with the company did send me a replacement cartridge. As it is now, I have not yet replaced the current cartridge as it has stopped squeaking for some odd reason!!
Can I ask how the maintenance is with the polished nickel finish? I'm trying to decide between polished nickel and chrome and we have hard water. Thanks for sharing your experience!
This is a very easy faucet to keep clean. Our old one, which was the exact same model and used for 12 years, was quite clean right up to the very end. Now, with that said, we have a whole house water softener which I am sure makes a difference. However, we have a polished nickel shower fixture of a different brand that I cannot clean the spots off and that is very frustrating. I think the finish on this faucet is very nice. I've been using mix of: 50% liquid dish soap 45% water 5% alcohol or bleach OR vinegar + baking soda (more environment friendly option)

If you add hot water the soap will dissolve into the water easier.

what if the door doesn't close unless you open a little and push the button to close? Mine was open and I locked it open until I pushed the button, and it would slow close.
I replaced the seal in mine and it got worse.
Very sorry to hear that. When you put it back together, did the new seal go in very firmly? Meaning, the old seal on mine was dried up and there was an clear difference when I put the new seal in. @ yes it went in firmly, I even tried another seal because I bought 2 and it didn’t work either. I stopped at Lowe’s and got the whole fluidmaster assembly for $9 and it’s fixed now.
It's not a washer your removing it's a o-ring. Use a o- ring pick to remove..

Thank you .. with the Fluidmaster 400, 2"flapper set.. no one informed me about the toilet fill valve seal. I have replaced the whole system thinking the over flow pipe was cracked allowing water to slowly leak out, causing the level to drop, then slowly fill back up... This worked great on another system saved about $10 from buying the whole kit and saved me 2 hrs or more taking the tank apart when it wasn't needed .. thank you...

10:35 Thanks for that. I have a decent looking seal but I noticed the water leaks out a bit around it. Also, what if i accidentally put the arm in the wrong position so the toilet doesn’t fill? This is from trying to get the cap off the wrong way at first. Do I just gently position it til it works?
Sounds like a new seal is in order. Regarding the arm, without seeing it, I would say yes be gentle as it is a plastic part. Try to get it back to where is was. I hope everything works out, thanks for watching, JL.
@ Thanks for answering. Yeah, it was the new seal. I had gotten it back into place. Easy repair. Where you pointed out the leaking… helped a lot. 30 something woman who’s changed a flapper and that’s it; if that comment is helpful to anyone else. So, I flushed potential mineral deposits. Cleaned out the cap, even though I didn’t really see any grime. Fit the seal in. Put it back on. I had also scrubbed around inside the toilet to remove buildup.
Knew it was too good to be true for me 😃 I replaced the seal and still have water misting out from it

I would prefer using a disposable duster than use my vacumn before the toilet is sanitized. That's kinda icky

Hmm, the wheels do make things a little tricky. Perhaps try these rubber furniture caster cups a.co/d/gzhWC6O. Or maybe some shims under each wheel a.co/d/2R3goon. If the wheels are level and the shelf wobbles above the feet, perhaps anchoring to the wall with a tether strap might be best. I hope this helps, thanks for watching, JL.

What is meant by a good electrical cord? I have a 13 amps/125v cord. Is that sufficient?
By no means am I an electrical expert, but I think you should be fine with that cord - the saw is 9 amps. I've only had an issue when I put two cords together and the run is too long for the gauge, in my case the saw just did not turn on. It worked fine once I connected my heavier duty cord. I will never buy a Kingston brand again! They don’t answer the phone at all no matter the department. I bought the replacement cartridge and they don’t mention an adapter needed and changed the set up 2 yrs old and corroded . I’m 61 disabled and can’t breathe well. Had to use old parts after soaking and scraping 3 days later done and in pain. Horrible company
I am sorry to hear of your experience. I have contacted them recently because my hot water cartridge on this faucet has developed a loud squeak and is becoming difficult to turn on and off. This happened on our first faucet as well. I will update with progress! Thanks for watching, JL.
