Ohh.. i love Asian girls.. so fragile, and that hair... man.. shineeeyyyyy .. i could run bare-foots through it... yeah.. I know.. i have a hair fetish..
@@gonsiPL Oh shit! It sounds like you're around 10 years younger than me! I remember those and got the good fortune due to previous habits to be able to wear them while my best friend who always plays an obnoxious strength build male was pissed that he couldn't use them! There were a few other games that had female-only gear that was superb and I've always appreciated it. I think the only time I've played a male instead of a female in the last 15 years was Conan. But that's just because I wanted to run around with my dingaling blowing in the wind or hanging low as I climbed. That shit was gold.
I will answer this question the best way i can. Female characters are just better. In the majority of games, they have better model, better animations, and better cosmetics, and they look nice. Male characters often look clunckie and have gear that looks like it was built by a dwarf that listens to metalica. Then you have marketing that is geared to both males and females buying. The players who play female characters are their target bc they tend to be the ones buying these aesthetic dlc
A big difference is dialigue, generally the female voice has more emotion to it and typically that makes the acting feel better, while male characters are portrayed as reserved and "badass" which comes off as flat and boring. But i'll usually play a girl regardless because i want to look cute.
most players were male tought so its not true that male play mostly as females. As always it depends on the genre and in Rpgs males tend to stick with their sex since there are romantic options
The other is appealing. Think about it. Why does Asia and Africa have an "exotic" appeal to Europe? The same reason why imagining being a woman would be appealing to a man. It is an outside experience. It is the other. Somewhere outside of our little bubble are other worlds where people think, feel and act differently to the way we do. Women are different to men. That is their appeal. There is also the "cool girl" effect. This is the conventionally attractive woman who is capable of excelling in areas that are associated as manly. Fighting and taking down bad guys whilst also being an attractive female has it's own appeal.
I usually play as a female character because I enjoy having the choice. Most games I play feature default protagonists, whether male or female. So, when a game lets me choose, I almost always pick a female character.
To me, I have always played females when it suits the story. Because I don't play as myself. I play as the character. But I have started a new game as a dude before because the story seemed stupid if the mc was a girl.
girl look good. so i pick girl. in souls like ( because u have armor that makes character unrecognizable anyway) or first person games i pick man. quite easy and another point, this one coming from dead by daylight in my case: apart from better fashion, grils are smaller and since all character run the same speed their running animation is way more satisfying. it looks waiy faster and swifty compared to the male character clunky jog)
I play male in 90% of single player rpgs or fps games..i play female only if she is smoking hot to see example EVE from stellar blade or 2B from nier automata. I do prefere females in coop games like The first Descendant for the aesthetics as before. Since i mostly play single player games 9 out of 10 times its a male so i dont think male gamers tend to play as female it depends on the genre mostly
If game is role-playing I prefer male. But if the game is more gameplay focused I choose female. Also if a game is like BG3 as in a mostly silent protagonist I choose female.
I rather watch a woman's behind than a man's behind + customization for dudes is just so limited. Especially if your not a white guy, as an asian guy, we got 1 or 2 face options. Even in BG3, a game with pretty decent customization, we got like what? 2 faces??? and i don't feel represented.
If i want to put myself in the main character's shoes, I'll create or play as a male. If I see myself as a third party seeing a story unfold before my eyes, I'll play as or create a fine ass female. It's that simple lol. Also, if the only option is to play as a fine woman, I'm gonna play as one. No problems here haha.
@@qzamap3870 Yeah. That's the first one I thought of. That, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey's protagonist. Plenty of games honestly. The female protagonist often comes across as more human or less artificial than the male ones.
Won’t lie- vampiric females are another level, Cassandra Dimitrescu she’s one bad mama jama, even now got that long white A2 hair with the crimson Ada looking dress for EVE, vampiric ladies are fine as the lords verses🔥
I am a “collector”, both in the game and in real life. So I always try to find all the clothes in the game and some don't look good on a guy. I mean, there's a dress in Bloodborne, for example. I don't wear that on any guy. So that item would already be “unnecessary” for me. But I want to have it and maybe use it, so I play a female character :D But that only applies to third-person games. Otherwise, I just think badass women are much cooler than guys xD I mean Kratos is all well and good, but EVE is much cooler xD
It depends on the game. If it's like GTA I prefer male char. But if it's dark fantasy or RPG stuff, usually female characters have nice drips. And nah, I get laid and have girl friends so I don't need to always stare at something in the screen.
Next level badassitude, little girl kicking some huge bosses ass. Don't go throwing the l0li word around too quick though, if a woman makes it work cuz of gender roles, then what does both a child and female do? That's doubling up, short, cute AND hasn't had enough time in her life to get swole, but the Elin back in Tera and the Lyn in Blade and Soul dragging some walking cliff-face of a monster onto his face sticks with you, and is almost certainly why those choices stomped player race percentages (despite Enmasse/Frogster's meddling censorship).

Female Commader Shepard is probably my fav video game character of all time, with Bayonetta, 2B, Lara, Rayne, Jill Valentine, Trish, Ada Wong. 3. Cause if I am to stare in TPP for tens/hundreds of hours on my character (especially it's back) - I prefer to stare at female 4. Female knight armor in Demons Souls is also great.

Nothing feels better than seeing a cool girl kick ass. Its like you are watching a show. It has nothing to do with trying to be the character.
